KUALA LUMPUR TOWER
Kuala Lumpur Tower, also known as KL Tower, is a six-storey, telecommunication tower of 421 m in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the world's 7th tallest tower, also, Malaysia and Southeast Asia's 2nd tallest tower. Its construction was completed on 1994 and features an antenna that increases its height to 421 m. The rest of the tower below has a stairwell and an elevator to reach the upper area, which also contains a revolving restaurant, providing diners with a panoramic view of the city. The tower is the highest viewpoint in Kuala Lumpur that is open to the public.

Aquaria KLCC is a state of the art oceanarium, showcasing over 5,000 different aquatic and land-bound creatures in their natural habitats within a sprawling 60,000 sq ft space. NATIONAL ZOO
Zoo Negara Malaysia is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society, a non-governmental organization established to create the first local zoo for Malaysians. It was officially opened on 14 November 1963 and has matured into a well-known zoo all around the world with a total of over 5,137 specimens from 476 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Over the years, the zoo has transformed itself to an open concept zoo with over 90% of its animals being kept in spacious exhibits with landscape befitting its nature.

An eden of nature and animals, Farm in The City (FITC) is a unique new concept that combines elements of wildlife and nature set in a designed environment of a conservation park. FARM IN THE CITY
Located in the serene and scenic Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens, it is only 10 minutes’ drive away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur. It is home to more than 3,000 local and foreign birds of approximately 200 different species. Sprawling approximately 20.9 acres of verdant valley terrain. KL Bird Park is also wheelchair-friendly and is reputed to be the largest free-flight walk-in aviary in the world. The main feature that distinguishes KL Bird Park from any other bird parks is the concept of free-flight.

Kuala Lumpur Upside Down House at KL Tower is the tallest of its kind in the Malaysian capital, featuring a traditional two-storey English cottage, complete with furniture and home décor that are, as the name implies, completely upside down. Located outside the iconic tower, it’s also within walking distance of family-friendly attractions along Jalan P. Ramlee. PUR KUALA LUM RY CITY GALLE
Located 11 km north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves is a 400 million-year old limestone hill, with a 100-year old temple incorporated within it, best known as the focal point of the annual Hindu festival of Thaipusam. The celebration attracts thousands of visitors who come to see the colourful spectacle of devotees. The Murugan Statue at the caves glistens in bright gold colour and soars up to 42.7 m and is the tallest statue in Malaysia. The cave temple is considered to be one of the 10 holy abodes of Lord Murugan and hence, is revered by millions of Hindu devotees.

The National Mosque of Malaysia has a capacity for 15,000 people and is situated among 13-acre gardens. Its key features are a 73 m high minaret and a 16-pointed star concrete main roof. The umbrella, synonymous with the tropics, is featured conspicuously – the main roof is reminiscent of an open umbrella. The folded plates of the concrete main roof are a creative solution to achieving the larger spans required in the main gathering hall. Completed in 1965, the mosque is a bold and modern approach in reinforced concrete, symbolic of the aspirations of a then newly independent nation. The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM), located in Kuala Lumpur, serves as an ambassador of Islamic Arts in Southeast Asia. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the IAMM opened its doors in 1998, and is home to a vast collection of Islamic arts and artifacts, beautifully curated in its 12 permanent galleries. The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia houses more than 7,000 artefacts and has an exceptional library of Islamic-art books. The art objects on display range from the tiniest pieces of jewellery to one of the world’s largest scale models of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca.

National Museum is located near the southern tip of the Lake Gardens, past the National Art Gallery. An excellent introduction to Malaysia’s history, economy, geography, arts, crafts and culture. MUSEUM
THE ROYAL MUSEUM
The Royal Museum opened its doors on 1 February 2013 and is located in the old National Palace which was the official residence of the King and Queen of Malaysia. The old National Palace has now been converted to a museum and is open to the public. Inside this two-storey building, there are 22 interior palace spaces comprising the ‘Balairung Seri’ (a room where the King meets his subjects), the sleeping chamber, the royal office, the dining hall and the resting lounge of the nation’s King. Taman Tugu is a 66-acre forest park for the public which aims to conserve, protect, and preserve a secondary forest located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This site was built on the bones of old government lodgings, and the remnants of it can be seen till today with forgotten concrete foundation blocks here and there. Spanning over 3 km, this trail is an easy hike for people of all fitness levels and the trails form a loop so they can finish where they started.

TAMAN TUGU
The Perdana Botanical Garden, formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardens, is situated in the Heritage Park of Kuala Lumpur. It has always been a part of the green lung of the city and has a history of over a decade. Originally created as part of a recreational park but planted with collections of tropical plants, the garden have been rehabilitated and turned into a Botanical Garden. The garden has not only botanical collections but also house features that gives the ambiance of being in a tropical rainforest, despite being in the middle of a bustling metropolis.

PERDANA BOTANICAL GARDEN
Dataran Merdeka is a square located in Kuala Lumpur in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. It was formerly known as the Selangor Club Padang and was used as the cricket green of the Selangor Club (now the Royal Selangor Club). It was here that the Union Flag was lowered and the Malaysian flag hoisted for the first time at midnight on 31 August 1957. Since then, Dataran Merdeka has been the usual venue for the annual Independence Day Parade. A 95 m flagpole, one of the tallest in the world, is located at the southern end of the square. A flat, round black marble plaque marks the location where the Malayan flag was raised for the first time. Daily | 24 hours
DATARAN MERDEKA / INDEPENDENCE SQUARE
The focus for the city’s artistic community, Central Market is a Kuala Lumpur cultural landmark, just a short walk away from Petaling Street. Also called Pasar Seni, it was built in 1928 and used to be a simple wet market, until the early 1980s when it was revamped into a handicrafts outlet. The three zones - Lorong Melayu, Lorong Cina and Lorong India - feature stalls that highlight the three main races in Malaysia.
