STRIDES FOR SHELTER 5K RUN + WALK

The Canopy Housing Foundation has given away over $130,000 to six different beneficiaries through Strides for Shelter race proceeds over the course of the race’s six year history.

About 127,000 children in our Charlotte region lack the basic school supplies they need to be successful in school. That’s more than 1 in 2 students. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure raises funds to support breast cancer research and treatment. Participating not only raises money, it also raises awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and treatment.
