Q1 2026: Strong Results and Continued Market Leadership
The 1st Quarter of 2026 has been a strong and defining period for McGrath Strathfield, shaped by standout results, continued leadership across the Inner West and an important milestone for our business.
A key highlight of the quarter was the sale of 31 Newton Road, Strathfield for $10,815,000, setting a new benchmark for both the suburb and the wider Strathfield LGA. We also sold 17 of the top 20 properties across the Strathfield LGA during the same period. In Homebush, we achieved a new suburb record with the sale of 82 Abbotsford Road for $8,000,000.
Based on REA statistics for properties sold in March 2026, McGrath Strathfield ranked #1 out of 1,229 agencies across all property types in every suburb where we recorded sales. In the same period, we also achieved the #1 ranking out of 466 agencies for houses sold across those same suburbs.
This quarter, our office sold 89 properties with total value of $243 million, achieving an average sale price of $2.74 million. These results reflect the strength of our team and the trusted relationships we continue to build across the Inner West.
The merger of McGrath Strathfield with LJ Hooker Strathfield is now complete, strengthening our presence in the Inner West and expanding our capability across sales, leasing, property management and auctions.
