ECE 104 Verordnung Seit dem 10. Juli 2011 sind Kennzeichnungen für eine höhere Sicherheit verpflichtend für neu zugelassene LKW-Typen mit einer Tonnage über 7,5 Tonnen (N2 und N3) und für Anhänger mit einer Tonnage von mehr als 3,5 Tonnen (O3 und O4).

Reflektierende Materialien, die die Vorschrift ECE 104 der United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) erfüllen müssen, sind auf den Seiten und der Rückseite aller betreffenden Fahrzeuge anzubringen.

Als Erfinder der mikroprismatischen Retroreflexionstechnologie, die die erste Wahl für ECE 104 Kennzeichnungen ist, setzen die Sicherheitsmarkierungsbänder der Marke Reflexite ® von ORAFOL seit den frühen 1990er Jahren den Standard für LKWMarkierungsbänder.
