Independent School Parent Awards 2022: Shortlisted for INDEPENDENT SCHOOL OF THE YEAR FOR WELLBEING
FROM THE HEADMASTER
Iam delighted to be able to share with you the findings of the Independent Schools Inspectorate who visited us in the week before the February half term break. They have judged Reigate St Mary’s to be ‘Excellent in All Areas’ for Education Quality, the highest category they can award a school, and Fully Compliant for Regulatory Compliance (again, the best outcome possible).
The inspection was extremely thorough, with time spent looking through data and engaging with staff, children and parents in groups, through surveys and many lesson observations. To receive an Excellent outcome is a wonderful reflection of the hard work and passion of the teaching team, the enthusiasm the children bring to their learning and the fantastic support given to the school by the RSM families. I feel extremely proud to be a part of such a brilliant community.
In her verbal summary, the Reporting Inspector was particularly impressed with the ‘warm relationships modelled by passionate staff’ and the ‘exceptionally high IT skills’ in evidence throughout the school.
