Adjustments to Strong Students

We understand the issues you’ve recently faced with Strong Students, because we have also experienced them at our own churches. The last few quarters have been rough. We apologize for the hurdles you faced due to delays and the last-minute pivots we had to make. Thank you for standing with us during these times of staffing and supply chain issues. We have taken several actions to address these headwinds:

After a careful search for a new editor to fill unexpected vacancies, we are thrilled to welcome Beth Prassel, who will focus on new materials for Strong Students. This new hire will provide a dedicated editor for the youth department.

Additionally, we have combined our youth curriculum departments into one department: Strong Students for Middle & High School! This change will allow RBP to focus on providing quality materials that are flexible to work for both middle and high school students. While some churches already combine these two groups, ministries can continue using the same curriculum in separate classes. Visit StrongCurriculum.com/plan to view the complete Scope & Sequence.

The Fall and Winter quarters are exclusively available in digital format to combat paper and printing supply chain issues. We intend this to be a temporary measure to address the paper shortage. We continue to investigate options and have changed print vendors where appropriate. We desire to return to the printed Strong Students curriculum as early as the Spring quarter, but it will depend on our printing and production capacity. We will keep RBPstore.org updated to reflect our current product offerings.

We are excited about these changes and the opportunities they create! Because the materials are digital, you save on shipping and product costs. The cost of the digital product will not count toward your shipping charges for any other products purchased with this product. Additionally, the teacher kit download code you will receive grants access to all the teaching resources for that quarter. These resources are fully reproducible for use in your own church for the duration of the download period. There’s no need to reorder student books midway through the quarter.

While some churches have asked for a digital option, we realize that other churches require printed resources. If this is true of your ministry, please consider choosing an elective course from our Real Faith curriculum until we are able to provide Strong Students curriculum in print.

The first lesson will be available when you receive the code. As the quarter begins, the remaining lessons will be added weekly. Downloads for the Fall quarter, Bedrock, are available through 11/30/2023. The Winter quarter, Here to Serve, will be available for download through 2/29/2024.
