Mary Treder Lang President

Our Dearest Regina Alumnae,

When I arrived on campus this morning before the sun peeked over the chapel, I sensed this would be an adrenaline-fueled day like so many others at Regina – a day that would start in prayer and reflection and

end in cheers and poignant tears. Today is one of our many fine traditions – Senior Farewell. Regina and our community is healthier and more vibrant – we have the largest freshmen class and enrollment in over twelve years! Our emphasis in the coming year will be the state of art Athletic Complex and improvements to our facilities. The intentional support you have shown to Regina continues to assist us in providing a life-changing experience for our young women, the future leaders of tomorrow. We are excited about what lies ahead and are appreciative of your support!

With our deepest gratitude and Saddlelite Blessings,

Shelby Bobowski '15

Saddlelite Sisters,

I am in awe with how fast the school year has flown by! I thought high school went by fast, but it goes by even quicker when surrounded

by a school empowering women to become their best self. As we welcome the Class of 2023 to our alumna network, I could not be more pleased with our community. Throughout the year alumna traveled from all over Michigan and across the country to spend a day(s) with our student body. Our amazing alumna community filled our halls, mentored our students, coached our athletes to success, and club moderators provided once in a lifetime experiences. Our students have gained a perspective of what amazing women Regina has spotlighted over the years.

As I am making my transition into the classroom this fall, I am pleased to welcome Sheila Salloum Millet Class of 1983 to our Alumnae Offices. Thank you for truly a welcoming year. I have had the privilege of getting to know our alumna community on a deeper level, and am blessed to be apart of this network. God Bless you all, and I hope you have a wonderful summer.

Kindest Regards,

Mary
Shelby

Alumna Faces in the Hallways

Thank you to all our alumnae community who took time out of their day this year to be with our current students! From alumnae mentoring students, to guest speakers for clubs, to presenting at school events, we are so excited to work with our Saddlelite sisters. Our students love hearing from women who have walked in the same shoes as they are.

Next Steps

In March, the Counseling Department and the Alumna Office joined forces and hosted a bi-yearly event, Next Steps. 28 alumnae spoke to our current students about their pathway after high school. Topics ranged from career choices, college athletics, mental health, safety demonstrations, and how they can be successful during high school and beyond.

The students enjoyed collaborating with women who have walked in their shoes, and gained a new perspective into life after Regina. Our keynote speaker, MariaTeresa Tersigni-Tarrant '96 reminded our student body to, "Nurture your spark, fuel it, give it oxygen, and fan that flame!

Nurture someone else's spark by mentoring, advocating, and fanning that flame!"
