REGINA HIGH SCHOOL NEW MISSION STATEMENT Regina High School is a Catholic college preparatory school in the Franciscan tradition of peace, service, and respect for the unique dignity of each person. Regina is committed to academic excellence, nurturing and guidance, and the moral, intellectual, physical, and personal growth of young women who face the challenges of today’s world. Message from our President
Dear Regina Family, As the 2017-2018 school came to an end and we joyfully sent off the Class of 2018 to make their way in this world, I can’t help but reflect on the blessings, honors, and accomplishments we have experienced this year. Most notably were: • • • •
100% of our graduating seniors will be attending two-year or four-year colleges and universities The Class of 2018 received over $5.9 million in college scholarships Our SaddleBots were ranked in the top third of Michigan’s FIRST Robotics Competition Teams Our Science Olympiad Team competed in a competition and six Regina students were awarded medals • 2018 Varsity Soccer Team made it to semi-state finals • 2018 Varsity Softball Team made it to semi-state finals • 2018 Powderpuff Team prevailed over Marian High School with a 21-14 win! We recognize that Regina is known for many things: college preparatory classes, competitive sports teams, strong theatre and arts programs and much more. Yet it is our Catholic faith and supportive, welcoming environment that is the cornerstone of what elevates Regina above all other school options. Being a highly accredited Catholic school fuels both adults and students to think beyond ourselves and our school – and into the community. It is our collective beliefs that we share with our young women each day, helping them to grow and…“Transforming Girls Into Women of Faith and Vision in the Franciscan Tradition.” These four years are so instrumental in their formation academically, socially and spiritually. Thank you parents, for your sacrifices to make Regina High School a reality for your daughter. Thank you donors and volunteers, for your support and the tireless “yesses” that make so many things possible. Thank you teachers, for lovingly guiding and encouraging students to achieve their fullest potential. Thank you students, for your enthusiasm for learning and life. It is simply contagious. The way you lift each other up as you climb is not only honorable, it is inspiring. And another thank you to the countless others whose heart and soul are totally immersed in helping to create the nurturing environment and steadfast community that is Regina High School. A Letter from the Chairperson of the Board of Directors
Dear Regina Family, On behalf of the Regina High School Board of Directors, I am pleased to provide you with the Regina High School 2017-2018 Annual Report. It has been another great year for the students of Regina. I am very proud of them and all their accomplishments, and I am unapologetic in my belief that Regina High School is the premier college preparatory school in Macomb County for young women. This letter gives me the opportunity to highlight the key advancements from this past year and to acknowledge those people who have contributed to these achievements. The parents of our students are enormously committed to Regina’s mission. Through their participation in the Regina’s Mother’s Guild, Dad’s Club and Sports Club, parents have raised and donated thousands of dollars back to the school for scholarships and specific projects such as the cameras for Regina’s enhanced security system. Regina’s faculty and staff made numerous improvements to our educational environment this past year. The STEM initiative in our science and math classes was broadened with participation in the MSU Create for STEM Institute. Additionally, Regina has moved to the web-based school information system with unified classroom pages for teachers and students through PowerSchool. Furthermore, our staff has made improvements to our protocols to ensure that our students are safe. These include upgrades to the school’s cameras as well as a new integrated system on mobile devices, iPads, and desktops throughout the school that enables all staff members to notify administration of any threatening situations. The Alumnae, parents of Alumnae, current parents and friends were very generous over the past year. Your financial donations are greatly appreciated and make it possible to continually improve the school’s infrastructure and provide our students with the latest technological tools. 2017-2018 Annual Giving Levels Regina High School gratefully acknowledges the support and generosity of our contributors who help further our mission. The donors listed in this report are recognized for their cumulative gifts to the school from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.
St. Joseph Founders Society – The St. Joseph Society is composed of individuals and organizations whose annual financial support of $20,000 and above demonstrates their strong dedication and commitment to Regina High School and recognizes and understands the importance of a Catholic Education.
President’s Society – The President’s Society consists of individuals and organizations whose annual financial support of $10,000 to $19,999 demonstrates their commitment to the mission of Regina High School.
Principal’s Society – The Principal’s Society recognizes benefactors who demonstrate their generosity and commitment by gifts of $5,000 to $9,999 to Regina High School.
Queen’s Society – The Queen’s Society honors individuals and organizations whose support of $2,500 to $4,999 has enabled Regina High School to continue its mission of educating our young women in the Catholic tradition.
Crown Society – The Crown Society is made up of individuals and organizations who have donated $1,000 to $2,499.
Scepter Society – The Scepter Society members are honored for their Annual Fund gifts of $500 to $999.
Regina Society – The Regina Society acknowledges donors whose gifts are $250 to $499.
Blue and White Society – The Blue and White Society acknowledges our donors who have made contributions of $100 to $249 towards the Regina’s Annual Fund programs.
Saddlelite Society – Regina’s members of the Saddlelite Society are recognized for their donations up to $99.
Students from the National Honor Society volunteered at Gleaners Community Food Bank. Together as a group they moved 9,450 pounds of food and 7,560 lives were impacted.

Ways to Give to Regina High School Your gifts to Regina are an important investment to our students, faculty, administration, staff and facility. Each gift is important and will be used to further enhance the quality of the Regina experience for our current and future students. Here are a few ways you can invest in Regina:
The Regina Annual Fund Unrestricted gifts to the Regina Annual Fund will help to provide academic improvements, technology upgrades, scholarships, tuition assistance and overall support of the school’s operating budget.
Regina Courtyard Pavers Program “Leave your mark on Regina High School!” Just as the building blocks of education leave a lasting impression on our students, you are invited to leave a personalized lasting impression in Regina’s beautiful courtyards.
Memorial/Commemorative Gifts Memorial or honorary gifts can be made in honor of a loved one or in tribute to a special occasion. Gift acknowledgements will be sent to the family or friend you choose. All gifts are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged in the Annual Report.
Scholarships There are scholarship programs designed to help students attend Regina High School. Contributions can be made to either the school’s general Scholarship/Financial Aid Program or to a scholarship of your choice.
Estate Gifts Gifts of property, including residence, vacation home, jewelry, art, etc., can provide significant benefits to the school and to the donor. The specialized help of appraisers and tax advisors is necessary to make such a gift.
Stocks and Appreciated Assets Transfer shares of appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds to Regina High School. Simply contact your financial advisor to arrange your transfer.
