Welcome Home for Family Weekend

Family Weekend is your invitation back to Regent's Virginia Beach campus, three days each fall set aside just for you. Join the Regent Community for campus tours, department open houses, and a frontrow seat to the community they’ve made their own. From the energy of Royals Fest and the Chopped Chili Competition to cheering on the Royals under the lights, it’s a chance to celebrate Regent life.

The weekend is built around connection. Share a meal at The Ordinary Café, join in worship at The Outpouring in Shaw Chapel, or roll up your sleeves alongside fellow students, staff, and alumni at the Operation Blessing Service Project. Law School families mark 40 years of the program with a dedicated anniversary event, and when the schedule allows, Virginia Beach’s oceanfront is just minutes away.

No matter how you spend it, Family Weekend is designed around one thing: a royal time together.

A Chopped-style chili cook-off in a tent on the grass near the Communication Building Plaza, serving up a taste of friendly competition before the main event kicks off.

The night’s main event: the top two intramural flag football teams face off in the annual Chili Bowl championship.

Join us for breakfast at The Ordinary Cafe on Saturday morning before the Operation Blessing Service Project.

Operation Blessing Service Project

Library Plaza

Roll up your sleeves for a shared act of service. Students, staff, alumni, and families will assemble hygiene kits alongside Operation Blessing for communities affected by disaster, a hands-on way to give back together.

Note: Every participating family member must complete a liability waiver.

11:30 am-2:00 pm Law School 40th Anniversary Event

Robertson Hall

Regent Law marks 40 years of preparing Christian leaders with a relaxed afternoon of food, lawn games, and family-friendly activities. Add your memories to the 40th Anniversary Timeline, leave your mark on the Vision Wall, and take your shot at the dunk tank, professors included. This event is included in all Law Tier packages.

This event is for law school alumni, faculty, staff, students and their guests only.
