Regent Law Centers CENTER FOR GLOBAL JUSTICE® The Center for Global Justice® equips students to promote the rule of law, seek justice for the oppressed, and support those already engaged in such advocacy. Students work on legal projects for human rights organizations like ADF International, the International Justice Mission, Shared Hope, the Uganda Attorney General, and Advocates International. Students have drafted briefs to the European Court of Human Rights, written legal memos to end land grabbing in Uganda, proposed legislation to combat child sacrifice, and helped do research to pass Virginia’s first Sex Trafficking Survivors’ Bill, followed by the state’s first trafficking-related expungement legislation. Select students also receive funded internships and fellowships through the center. globaljustice.regent.edu
ROBERTSON CENTER FOR CONSTITUTIONAL LAW The Robertson Center for Constitutional Law leverages the expertise of faculty, students, and its global network of alumni and legal experts to promote first principles in constitutional law, including freedom of speech, separation of powers, and religious freedom. After the center collaborated with the Christian Legal Society to file an important friend-of-the-court brief in support of the prevailing party, the United States Supreme Court issued its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overruled two major abortion cases: Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. This is an example of the center’s commitment to training the next generation of leaders to defend the Constitution. constitutionallaw.regent.edu
CENTER FOR PROFESSIONAL FORMATION The Center’s mission is to help aspiring young lawyers discern God’s purpose in their law practice. The Center achieves its mission by running Regent Law’s Foundations of Practice Course, in which students make a discernment plan under the guidance of a faculty mentor. The Center also pairs first-year students with practicing legal professionals who embody integrity and strong moral character and sponsors presentations and panels introducing current law students to the highest professional standards of the legal community. regent.edu/professionalformation
SINGER CENTER FOR ADVOCACY The Singer Center for Advocacy strengthens Regent Law’s nationally recognized advocacy training by bringing together moot court, trial advocacy, skills training, mentorship, and public service under one unified vision. Founded through the vision of Randy Singer, the Center prepares students to understand advocacy as a sacred calling: giving voice to the vulnerable, pursuing truth and justice, and serving clients and communities with courage, competence, and Christ-centered purpose. Through advanced training, competition-team support, public service initiatives, and experiential opportunities, students are equipped to become fully prepared, courtroom-ready advocates. regent.edu/singercenter
