Regents Campus Safety Resources

The safety and security of students, faculty, and staff have always been our top priority, and we continue to evaluate how we can improve. We are implementing increased security measures on the Regents campus this year, including:

• All doors to buildings on campus will be locked at all times and only accessible by security badge or being buzzed in by the receptionist desk.

☐ Any parent, volunteer, or visitor must check in at the Grammar building before proceeding to any other building on campus. You will receive a visitor’s badge that must be worn at all times while on campus.

☐ You will not be allowed to enter any academic building on campus without wearing a visitor’s badge and being buzzed in by the receptionist desk.

☐ Only those with security badges (faculty/staff and senior students) will be able to enter SOR through the front wooden doors. All parents, volunteers, and visitors must enter SOR through the glass doors on the right side for visibility purposes.

• Armed security

• Regular security audits by an independent firm to evaluate our security presence and procedures

• Regular Austin Police Department patrol visits

• A tip line to allow advanced warning for any potential threats on campus

• A new perimeter fence that was installed over the summer

• Implementation of The Standard Response Protocol for emergency management and crisis response

See Something, Say Something

Your eyes and ears are critical to the safety of our campus. It is imperative that if you see something suspicious, on campus or online, please call 911 and contact us at security@regentsaustin.org or 512-5923505.

Please join us for a coffee with Collin Fallon, Chief of Security, on Wednesday, September 6, in the Grammar Hall Oak Room. If you have any questions about the security at Regents, you can reach out to Collin Fallon, Chief of Security.
