We invite you to take advantage of the many outdoor activities Winter Park and the Fraser Valley have to offer, with a year-round calendar full of so much to do, see and experience. Our Guest Services Staff at the Front Desk will be more than happy to help you plan every minute of your mountain adventure. Choose from exciting sporting activities, superb restaurants and first-class entertainment without forgetting to relax and enjoy our in-house facilities: a large indoor pool, two hot tubs and a sauna on the first floor, or the Moffat Station Restaurant on site, which offers locally inspired dishes and a selection of Colorado micro brews.

For your winter enjoyment, make sure to stop by at Ski4Less sports store, located next to the Front Desk, for one-stop shopping for all your needs on the slope. Grand Adventures is also located in our lodge on the second level past the Moffat Station Restaurant and Fireplace Lobby, where you can schedule to take off on an exciting guided snowmobile tour.

Welcome to the Colorado Mountains!

You will quickly become accustomed to the altitude if you follow some basic mountain rules.

HIGH ALTITUDE TIPS

The Hotel and the Resort area lie 9,000 ft. above sea level. The air is thinner and less oxygen is available. People coming from lower elevations may experience altitude sickness. This usually occurs within the first 48 hours. You may experience headaches, nausea, insomnia, and loss of appetite. The best remedy is to take it easy your first day here: increase fluid intake, as the high altitude accelerates dehydration. Decrease salt, alcohol and caffeine intake, and select high carbohydrate, low fat foods.

Be aware that high elevation can also accentuate existing health problems. Seek medical assistance if problems persist or get worse.

There is also about 50% more ultraviolet radiation at this altitude than at sea level. Always wear eye and skin protection.

We have daily housekeeping service for all our guests. If you prefer to get this service at a particular time, please arrange it with your room attendant. If you require additional assistance from your room attendants, simply call the Front Desk by dialing “0”. Please use your “Do Not Disturb” sign to let us know that you wish not to have your room cleaned.

INTERNET

Our hotel offers free wireless access to the Internet from the comfort of your room as well as in most public areas. WPML Internet please call the Front Desk for password.

At Moffat Station, we have a little something for everyone. Stop by and enjoy our daily happy hour from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and our daily promotions from 6:00 P.M. to close!

For any faxing, photocopying or mailing services, please ask one of our Guest Service Agents at the Front Desk.

MEDICAL SERVICES

MEETING FACILITIES

Winter Park Hotel features over 8,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space ranging from the Mountain View Ballroom with a capacity of 220 guests, to a Boardroom for 10 guests. Please call the Front Desk for our Sales Managers information.

PARKING

We offer complimentary outdoor parking for all registered hotel guests. The hotel cannot be responsible for items left inside the vehicles.

PETS

We offer pet-friendly rooms. Please register your pet at the Front Desk. Rates for pets are $35 per pet per night and $15 for the second pet in the same room. No more than two pets per room. A cleaning rate of $200 will be charged for pets found in non-pet friendly rooms. Please use the bag dispensers outside the hotel when walking your pet. There will be a $75 fee added to your bill for dogs left unattended and disturbing other guests. Please hang the blue pet sign from your door so Housekeeping will not enter your room.

ROOM UPGRADES

Please ask our Guest Services Agent about a room upgrade. We would be more than happy to accommodate your request pending availability.

ROLLAWAY BEDS

Rollaway beds are available for a $20 fee per night through our Front Desk. Please dial “0”, between 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M.

SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES

For your convenience, we offer safe deposit boxes free of charge at the Front Desk. Guests are advised to store all valuables in the safe deposit box. Winter Park Mountain Lodge is not liable for items left unsecured in your room or in your car. Please secure your key as forced entry will destroy the lock and result in a charge.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Free regularly scheduled shuttle service from the Winter Park Mountain Lodge Front Desk Lobby to Winter Park Resort, and the towns of Winter Park and Fraser, called The Lift Resort Shuttle. It operates daily during the winter season and summer season. Please inquire at the Front Desk for a full schedule.

SMOKING

All our guest rooms are non-smoking and we promote a non-smoking environment throughout the hotel. Colorado state law requires that smokers are to be 15 feet away from any entrance to the building. For smoking, please use our designated areas outside the hotel. There will be a $250 charge on your card for any smoking that takes place in your room.

SWIMMING POOL, SAUNA AND HOT TUBS

The Pool area is open from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. Your room key will give you access to the pool, sauna and hot tubs. Towels are available at the pool. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No food or beverages in the Pool area please.

Our Guest Service Agents will gladly assist you with calling a taxi should you require a quick hop downtown. We can also make arrangements for transportation to Denver International Airport (DIA)
