anting a study and career path that would engage her mind and give her regular challenges to tackle, Emma studied a Bachelor of Data Science at QUT. Currently, Emma is a senior forecasting system analyst for Energy Queensland, where she sorts through large amounts of data to find valuable insights. “For example, I might examine Queensland customers’ photovoltaic rooftop solar generations to understand generation outputs.” One of the coolest parts of her maths and data gig? The problem solving! “Every day, I encounter new puzzles to solve, whether it’s untangling complex datasets or devising innovative solutions to tricky problems.” Degree: Bachelor of Data Science, 2024
