If we have learned anything from the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s that our homes are our soft place to land, and that local business really matters to our community’s success. These two lessons are coming together in a big way with the new Prairie Sky Co-op Home Centre. “I am very excited to see the new home centre getting ready to open and am proud of this investment that Prairie Sky Co-op has made in the community. This facility will offer new products and services that would not have been previously available in Weyburn,” says Kevin Arthur, General Manager, Prairie Sky Co-op.
Throwing open its doors to Weyburn and area on July 5 with a grand opening planned for July 22, the new Co-op Home Centre is taking all things

construction and home to another level. “Our new Home Centre is 21,000 square feet, with five times the sales area as our previous space,” says Jodie Mantei, Co-op Home Centre manager. “We’ve expanded the product lines we have always carried and added a ton of new products too.”
FIND WHAT YOU NEED Now offering far more than just “the basics,” the Co-op Home Centre can provide everything you’ll need for a home project right here in Weyburn. The display areas are full of what you’re looking for in flooring, lighting, cabinetry, countertops, finishings and more. “We have a full kitchen cabinetry and countertop area, showing our selection of Kitchencraft cabinets and finishings,” says Jodie. “There’s also a bathroom cabinetry area, as well as a great selection of tubs, showers, toilets, fixtures and bathroom accessories.” Prairie Sky Co-op now carries granite, quartz and traditional countertops for kitchens and bathrooms.
If you’re in the market for flooring, you’ll find samples of tile, laminate and vinyl plank, both in-stock or available for order. As for lighting, there’s an array of stylish choices for indoor and outdoor, including kitchen, bath, dining and more. Doors and windows are also found in-store, with displays you can view and touch— goodbye brochures.
GET OUTSIDE Prairie Sky Co-op Home Centre has also expanded into outdoor living, with an all-new seasonal area. “We’ve got everything you need for the summer, including outdoor furniture, barbeques, and lawn and garden supplies,” says Jodie. Landscape projects will come alive with soils, landscape rocks, edging, pavers and tools, and you can build

Plus, you can find whatever hardware you need to get the job done—plumbing, electrical, home repair—you name it. “We’ve got way more than just the essentials now,” says Wade Christopherson, Home Centre hardware manager.
FOR THE PROS Prairie Sky Co-op Home Centre has also built up its offering for Weyburn’s contractors with a separate entrance and delivery service. “We have a dedicated contractor centre with a service desk, and two drive-thru bays to serve you,” says Dustin Gerry, Home Centre lumber manager. “We know you’re busy, and we’ll get you on your way as fast as we can.”
