Brewarrina Beds on The Barwon Caravan Park Overnight
Brewarrina Fish Traps The Brewarrina fish traps are estimated to be over 40,000 years old and one of the oldest man-made structures on earth. The elaborate network of rock weirs and pools stretches for around half a kilometre along the riverbed and was built by ancient tribes to catch fish as they swam upstream.

Another delightful stop with plentiful wildlife, above us two owls and opposite a bower bird building his impressive nest.

Iluka Iluka Riverside Tourist Park We drove to Iluka Bluff, and walked out to the rocks, a contrast of peaceful still pools of water and waves crashing at the edge. Lovely walks by the water in Iluka, beautiful sunsets, fishing and a long wait at the very popular fish shop by the pier.

Maclean Maclean Showground A lovely town on the banks of the Clarence River. Maclean has a Scottish heritage with its Tartan Power Poles – more than 200 power poles painted in family tartans. Our spot by the river was amazing and the changing light at sunset was breathtaking.
