Flag Game and Pool Party

With the summer season in full force, we celebrate our nations holiday with a fun weekend of golf and a pool party! The time of the season, we have family and friends visiting us, so feel encouraged to bring them golfing or to the pool party.

All day on Sunday, July 2nd, we will have a game available for all members and guests to play, if they choose to. Additionally, we will have our family pool party on Monday, July 3rd, to celebrate the holiday with activities, food and drinks!

The details for the pool party will be announced at a later time but we look forward to a great day.

Time: Open tee times all day

Format: Flag Game - Each golfer starts out with a designated number of strokes based on their handicap . Each golfer carries a flag with their name on it as they play and uses the flag to mark where their final shot landed on the course. The player that makes it through the course the farthest using their designated strokes wins.

2022 Trailblazer Champions

The premier major tournament of the men’s golf season at Red Sky is the Trailblazer. Bring your favorite guest for the ultimate member-guest tournament in the Rockies! You won’t find a better place to spend 3 days full of golf, food, friends, and beautiful views.

We will seperate all teams into 12 flights with 6 teams in each flight. You will play each team in your flight for one 9-hole match. The best team from each flight will play in a 3-hole shootout to determine our final 3 teams. These 3 teams will battle for the overall title and be called our 2023 Trailblazer Champions.

Each match format will be fourball match play to accumulate as many points possible. The shootout format will be straight alternate shot with your partner over a 3-hole stretch. Sign-ups fill up quickly, so be ready to get into this full field of 72 teams!

Course: Both courses

Time: Thursday & Friday - 8:30 a.m. shotguns

Saturday - 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. shotguns

Saturday Shootout - 2:30 p.m. shotgun

Format: 3-day match play competition. 54-holes with five 9-hole matches throughout the week. A shootout will determine our overall champions and all play is followed by a Saturday night party and awards.
