The Red Raider Club has been an integral part of Texas Tech University’s athletics program for more than 60 years. Every year, we add new benefits to our membership program to enhance the experience for members. In 2023, the Red Raider Club is proud to introduce several exciting updates for its members.
• Introduction of Digital Membership Cards. With this new feature, members can quickly access events and activities with an elevated experience. This will allow members to streamline the check-in process and make the most out of their membership.

STUDENT-ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP & ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Red Raider Club contributions help provide scholarship support to more than 400 Texas Tech student-athletes each academic year. This ensures the department can provide tuition, books, fees and cost of attendance to every qualifying student-athletes. In addition to scholarships, student-athletes also receive academic support in the form of tutoring, academic and degree advising, eligibility monitoring, and much more!
STRIVE PROGRAM
Gifts to the Excellence Fund support the new STRIVE initiative. A new component of the Red Raider experience will award up to $5,980 per academic year to Texas Tech student-athletes who reach specific academic achievement criteria. This is an additional investment of $1.8 million annually for the department.
MEALS & NUTRITION
Providing the proper nutrition to student-athletes allows them to compete and train at their peak performance. Our first class nutritional program is one of the most comprehensive in the country. The Cash Family Sports Nutrition Center features multiple food-serving stations, staff to assist athletes nutritional requirements, a learning kitchen, and much more.
STRENGTH & TRAINING
Proper strength and conditioning is critical for our student-athletes to perform at the highest levels. Strength and conditioning allow our athletes to strengthen supporting muscles, even out muscle imbalances, increase mobility, correct posture, stabilize joints, learn new movement patterns, enhance coordination and peripheral skills, and so much more.
STUDENT-ATHLETE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Through Red Raider Club’s various programs and initiatives, student-athletes are given the opportunity to develop their leadership skills both on and off the field. We offer workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs to help student-athletes develop skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and decision-making.

Texas Tech supporters make an impact each day through contributions to the Red Raider Club Annual Fund. The Campaign for Fearless Champions has completed 28 facility projects to date and continues to change the trajectory of Texas Tech Athletics through first-class facilities that impact not only recruiting, but the experience for every student-athlete, coach and fan.

PRIORITY POINTS
The Red Raider Club Priority Point system rewards continued support and loyalty to all Red Raider Club members and season ticket holders. The system is designed to provide an equitable and transparent method of distributing Red Raider Club benefits that exist in limited quantities or access for high-demand events such as postseason play.
Specific point values are assigned to certain giving types and season ticket purchases. Point values from each category will be combined to create point total, or rank. Rank is defined as point total within active donors to the Red Raider Club.
Depending on each benefit type, the Red Raider Club may allocate benefits by priority points, or a combination of priority points and RRC member level.

STRIVE PROGRAM ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Whenever NCAA rules are changed to benefit student-athletes, Texas Tech Athletics acts quickly to fully respond and implement these opportunities.
With the recent ruling in Alston vs. NCAA, institutions can now provide up to $5,980 in academic achievement awards each year to every scholarship student-athlete.
In order to implement this, the Strive Program was created for scholarship studentathletes who are academically eligible, on course to graduate on schedule and remain a member in good standing with his or her respective sports program at the end of the semester. In addition, GPA requirements and participation in student-athlete programming led by the J.T. and Margaret Talkington Department of Student-Athlete Development will count as qualifying criteria.
Similar to the implementation of cost of attendance measures in recent years, Texas Tech Athletics will raise the necessary $1.8 million to cover academic achievement awards annually through gifts to the Red Raider Club. This new area of impact will enhance the first- class experience for our Red Raider student- athletes who represent us on and off the field. Texas Tech will initiate these awards starting with the 2022-2023 academic year.
