This calf could have easily been on parade this summer, and has been a favorite of ours all along. Bryan Mackenzie picked him out right away, and we were definitely torn with the idea of showing and selling him, or keeping him for our own use. His muscle pattern and body type closely resembles his sire at this age, and he might be the best Headline calf we have had yet. His future will be bright, and we think very highly of 95E. Terms to be announced.

This calf was Becky’s favorite all year. Out of a first calf heifer, he was complete, masculine, and arguably one of the most well balanced calves in 2017. He had that showy look to him, and he has always been a mover. We have been very impressed with the Mighty Max calves from Square-D, and this calf will be loaded with potential. Terms to be announced. 25

This mid March calf sports one of the higher daily gains in the pen. His mother is a heavy milking young cow and his maternal brother, RLU 43D is also for sale in 2018.

Showhome and 14Y cross exceptionally well. This is the 2nd full brother bred this way, and he is our pick of the two. Well balanced and hard muscled, he has carried himself like a bull from a young age. His mother is a hard working Super Duty daughter who has raised good calf after good calf.

A nice Power Up son out of a first calving Beef 465A daughter. The Beef daughters have amazing udder quality and are looking like a nice consistent group of cows. This calf had an exceptionally low birth weight, and sported a great weaning weight come fall. Calving Ease.

One of two Power Up 11C sons on offer, this calf will make a great calving ease sire and comes from the same cow family as RLU 13E. With Beef 465A on the top side, you won’t have to worry about condition or hair, there will always be plenty.

The only Powerball son in the offering, 35E has been a long spiced, attractive calf all year. His mother was a cow we paraded as a calf and as a yearling heifer. 35E was likely her best calf yet, and we have liked the look of him all along. He kept a PowerBall son for ourselves two years ago, and has had no trouble breeding him to heifers.

This soggy bull has grown at an incredible rate since he hit the ground. His red eyes and dark hide give him that added eye appeal, and he doesn’t disappoint in performance and haircoat. His mother is a great young Torant daughter, and we expect 1E will be amongst the favorites in the Hereford pen this year.

Indiana is one of our more exciting up and coming sires. His calves have a ton of eye appeal, and are perhaps a touch ‘fancier’ than the other sire groups we have in the sale pen. 36E is no different, and he combines the superior maternal strength from his martial grandsire 440T, with that of Indiana on the top side. This bull is loaded with potential and comes from a great cow family.

Our bulls are weaned off of their mothers in October, and started on a TMR ration of silage, oats, hay, and a supplement pellet. They are weighed initially, and also in each month following to ensure that they are gaining accordingly, and to

record performance data on each animal individually. We cull through the pen on an ongoing basis, and we believe that every bull calf does not make a herd sire. We steer about 2/3 of our bull calves each year, and we sell only the best of what we have to offer. Each bull is semen tested and guaranteed. We try to improve the pen every year, and ensure that each bull calf has a sound, strong mother to back him up. We do not sell calves that are slow to start, excessive birthweights, or those that have had health issues along the way. We do not alter birth dates, and we compare the pens performance on adjusted basis, while taking into account the date the calf hits grass. We are happy to help with any questions you may have regarding bulls, and we are always willing to give tours of both the sale bulls, and their respective sires and dams.

Our guaruntee is to the standard of the Canadian Hereford Association and the Canadian Angus Association. We highly reccomend all animals be insured if they are to remain at Redline until breeding. Thank-You 29
