Fun path to sustainability

Redland City Council is now offering free sustainability resources for childcare centres and primary schools through a partnership with the makers of ABCKids series Dirtgirlworld and Get Grubby TV.

Youngsters will love the online videos starring Dirt Girl and Costa the Garden Gnome, pictured, along with Scrap Boy, as well as gain access to music, indoor and outdoor activity sheets and more.

The good news for teachers is that the resources are aligned to outcomes in the national curriculum.

Council’s IndigiScapes Centre will also use the Get Grubby resources to deliver sustainability events and workshops.
