If I had to name two, it would definitely be “being the daughter of a super lov ing mother” & “being a big sister”. My mother was young when she had me so we basically grew up togeth er and for a long time she was my best friend. TN: I have lived in over 500 foster homes and I experienced a very hard and stressful childhood. One of the hardest things was constantly being separated from my siblings and never knowing where I was going next. As a result, I changed schools a lot and constantly felt out of place having to make new friends to replace the old ones. I use to have alot of trouble staying connected to places or people but as Queen I am very connected to the people, especially young people. I now feel empowered! I feel like in so many ways I am helping myself through helping others because I feel soo happy while doing it. Even when it is hard I still feel very happy that I am the one that God chose for this journey. My intentions for helping these children are so good and pure that I understand now why I was chosen to be on this path. Even-though my own childhood being very sad to think about sometimes, had to happen so that I can relate to these kids honestly and sincerely. This is one of the reasons I love this “Mrs. America Inc.” Organization so much because I was able to learn more and be a part of “Victoria’s Voice” and“Victory Clubs” which is an absolutely amazing charitable organization that raise awareness for the opioid epidemic/ substance abuse that our beautiful youth are soo unfortunately vulnerable to and these wonderful platforms incentivizes teens to be and stay drug free. ANNE HECHE Emmy Award-Winning Actress died at 53
Although, Anne Heche was a pioneering lesbian in the spotlight, she also went on to have some meaning ful heterosexual relationships as well and mothered two sons Atlas and Homer. She even had a high profile relationship with famed Comedian Steve Martin for several years. In her passing her sons decided to have her remains buried at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery where many famous celebrity personalities are buried, including Judy Garland, Mel Blanc, Rudolph Valentino, Mickey Rooney, Estelle Getty, The Ramones and even the dog Terry who played Toto in the original Wizard of Oz is buried here.

A little light at the end of the tunnel was that she was an organ donor and her loss may result in saving otherHechelives.was an actress with a fantastic career. She won a Daytime Emmy for her first role in 1987 on the acclaimed soap opera Another World where she portrayed a pair of twins. She reached her acting stride in the 1990’s when she had a supporting role in Donnie Brasco, and co-starring roles in Volcano and Six Days, Seven Nights where she co-starred alongside Hollywood heavy weights Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford respectively. In 1998 she starred in the remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. It was also in the late 90’s where she started her famously high profile relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, where they became one of the first open ly gay lesbian relationships in the spotlight. She con sidered herself to be a trailblazer for LGBT and even women’s rights to be happy.
Anne Heche was born May 25th, 1969 in Aurora, OH. She died after a tragic car accident in Los Angeles, where her car veered off the road and crashed into a house, and burst into flames. Doctors and family reported that she suffered severe injuries including smoke inhalation, burns, fractured sternum and severe brain trauma. She was unable to survive her injuries and passed in the hospital on May 11th.
Anne’s story was not all Hollywood highlights however and she was an actively outspoken person for the mental illness and drug addiction communities because over the years she dealt with both. She was dealing with mental illness for most of her life because she had been raped by her “in the closet” gay father for most of her childhood from toddler to age 12. She fractured her mind and cre ated an alternate personality as “Celestia” an extraterres trial child of God himself that was here to save the world. That is how she dealt with her severe childhood trauma. She also turned to drugs throughout her life as an additional outlet for the suppressed emotions. Another sad but true fact is that she was also a victim of Harvey Weinstein, the Hollywood monster that sexually assault ed countless young celebrities because of his position of power in the industry. But she turned all of this tragedy into advocacy and was very outspoken, and did national ly televised interviews with Larry King, Barbara Walters, and Matt Lauer about her experiences to promote her book Call Me Crazy: A Memoir which she wrote to share her truth and to show others it is ok to have issues and deal with them and to always be true to yourself.
And the cemetery is not your typical location, it is a must see Hollywood destination where picnics in the sur rounding park, concerts and even movie screenings are commonplace. This was the deciding factor for the fami ly as stated by Heche’s son Homer. He was quoted, “My brother Atlas and I want to thank Tyler, Noelle and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kind ness, compassion and generosity of spirit. We are con vinced our Mom would love the site we have chosen for her. It's beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers. Most importantly, Hollywood Forever is a living place, where people attend movies and con certs and other events. She was our Mom, but the kind ness and the outpouring of the past few days reminded us that she also belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community, and now, to the ages.”
Anne Heche lost her life tragically too soon and is sur vived by her adoring sons, Atlas and Homer. Anne, you will be missed forever and remembered even longer by fans and loved ones. May you rest in peace. by Michael Devine u

In Australia, she won a talent contest called Sing, Sing, Sing. Soon after that she formed and sung with an all-girl pop group called Sol Four and began to appear on weekly pop music shows in Australia. Her career quickly took off and she recorded her first single in 1966 called “Till You Say You’ll Be Mine” a country song in Britain and she also began her acting roles in some Australian films and television shows. In 1973 her single “Let Me Be There” was a top 10 hit on both the Adult Contemporary and Country Charts. Soon after she released multiple Number 1 hits on the Easy Listening Chart, including "I Honestly Love You," "Have You Never Been Mellow" and "Please Mr. Please." And then her big break and career changing moment Grease happened in 1978. Grease would truly put Olivia on the map and the change of her image from a Princess-esque prim and proper girl to an edgy street tough leather wearing girl would catapult her to even further success with her worldwide hit song in 1981 Physical which has since been a club staple for the last forty years in discos around the world and has been used in countless movies, films and TV shows and countless workout videos and gyms everywhere.

She had some other starring roles in movies that did not take off like Xanadu and Two of a Kind and she had another number one hit “Magic” from the Xanadu soundtrack. But overall her career took a back seat due to personal tragedy over the next 30 years. In 1990 she dealt with her three bouts with breast cancer which caused her to cancel and postpone many tour at the height of her career. Olivia Newton-John spent most of her adult life advo cating for Cancer research and promoting efforts to cure the disease, she even founded the Olivia NewtonJohn Cancer Center in Melbourne, Australia. Cancer was not her only foray into activism, she was also a champion for animal rights advocacy, once cancelling a concert in Japan until the government of Japan assured her of changes to their fishing policies that were routinely killing dolphins in their tuna fishing nets. She was also named President of The Isle of Man Basking Shark Society from 1998 to 2006. And she held benefit concerts and sold charity albums to benefit, UNICEF and the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization respectively. Ultimately, Oliva lost her battle with Cancer when it spread to her spine and she died peacefully in her sleep according to her family. Such a tragic end for such a magnificent and charitable woman. Olivia Newton-John, touched our hearts and minds with the timeless role as Sandy in Grease and with her lifelong passion for the health and well-being of both humans and animals, and she helped to fire up our passions and get our bodies moving with her sensual pop hit “Physical.” I would say it is clear that she is truly a starlet and singer that will live on forever in the hearts and souls of us all. WELCOME TO ICNA-MAC 4TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE, 2003 24 RED INK MAGAZINE
NA: I have always had a passion for the fashion indus try. Growing up in Nigeria, I was exposed to various arrays of elaborate designs and colorful textiles. I knew one day I wanted to spread my love for African fashion to the rest of the world and under that same notion, add a western twist to it. I got into the fashion industry in January 2001. I opened up my first boutique in Downtown Brooklyn and called it Noni Soul of Africa.
REDINK: Tell us some of your struggles and triumphs you had in your journey.
REDINK: Do you have a favorite collection that you are most proud of? If yes, which one?
I believe that artists, which a fashion designer is, has an obligation at some point to speak through their respec tive medium on the pressing matters of the day.
NA: My favorite collection that I am most proud of, is the "Extravaganza" collection which I showcased at my last fashion show on July 9th, 2022. The pieces were made to represent royalty. The pieces were designed in such a way that when it was worn, they gave an aura of regality, confidence, beauty, elegance, and power.
REDINK: Who or what influenced you to get into the fashion industry?
NA: Being a business owner and fashion designer is very demanding, and each day is full of twists and turns, especially in the fashion industry. I encountered numer ous roadblocks and obstacles during this journey, but I did not allow them to stop me. When I encounter disap pointments, I kept going. When I faced discouragement, I kept going. The end goal is to never give up and chase your dreams. It is important to keep the right people in your corner who cheer you on during the lowest points and push you to attain greater heights. Nobody said the journey would be easy, and it hasn’t been, but it is worth it because I truly love what I do.

Snoop has always wanted to create his own spirits brand, so it was only fitting that he cre ated the world’s best tasting gin. In his quest for flava, he remixed seven botanicals, and infused natural fruit flavors, thus creating his masterpiece. This juicy gin, with its laidback California style, is like no other gin in the world. It’s gluten free, low calorie with no sugar, and will leave you wanting more. Easy to mix, easy to drink, hard to forget. INDOGGO™ Gin is the ultimate remix of seven premium botanicals infused with all-natural ingredients including strawberry, no sugar with a slightly sweet and fruity finish. Bottle Size: 750ml
