GETTING TO THEISLE OF WIGHT

Red Funnel’s one-hour vehicle ferry service operates 365 days a year between Southampton and East Cowes – the northern tip of the Isle of Wight. Our three accessible vehicle ferries run throughout the day, with more frequent sailings during the main holiday season (April to October).

TRAVELLING WITH RED FUNNEL

We’d always advise to book ahead for the best rates, especially if you’re planning on visiting during the peak months or at weekends.

Once you’ve boarded our ferry, you can sit back and relax to enjoy the start of your holiday. We serve a range of hot meals, snacks and refreshments, and have a fully licensed bar on all three of our vessels. Head upstairs to the outer decks to take in the views from the sun deck, or upgrade to the relaxing Signature Lounge for a more adult-oriented atmosphere, with complimentary drinks and snacks included in the cost. Travelling over on foot? You can also get to the Island via our Hi-speed catamaran, the Red Jet service. It’s just a brisk 30-minute crossing from Southampton to West Cowes, and there are regular connecting buses on both sides of the water.
