THE PRAYER CHAIN

THANksgIvINg WEEk 2025

Dear God,

Trust. A word that holds great gain and great loss. A word wielding both power and ease; both questions and answers.

No matter the circumstance or situation, person or position, we can and should always trust you And since with you, all is grounded in knowledge, will, and love, trust should be an easy avenue for us to take.

It often is not - perhaps not so much because we don’t trust you but because we don’t trust ourselves. Is our judgment right, our thinking solid, our knowledge secure, our understanding in tact, our information complete?

Perhaps the hardest facet of our faith journey is trust. Believing becomes alive with trusting. Trusting becomes alive with acting. Acting becomes alive with loving. And, loving becomesalive.

Our trust is our reason for prayer. Simply, you’ve got this, and I don’t. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3: 5) \

And as we trust our God, our select few, and more and more ourselves, remind us to give thanks thanks for everything, from larger challenges and changes to daily needs and weeds. For all occasions give us opportunity to come to you, listen to you, learn from you, grow in you, and love as you. Because really --- what else is there.

We pray to you for wellness of mind, body, and spirit. We ask for this healing as well as for comfort and grace. Grant to all peace, perseverance, and patience. We pray with:
