All Saints Sunday Pastor Jonathan Trapp, preaching The theme of the Day: In holy baptism God makes saints out of sinners. In holy communion God forgives the sins of all the saints. In worship today we give thanks for all the saints “who from their labors rest.” In the same breath we petition our God for the strength to hear and to heed the admonitions of Jesus in today’s gospel. Sealed by the Spirit and sustained by the Savior’s body and blood, we live with joy as God gives us breath, to the praise of God’s glory.

JOIN THE REDEEMER TEAM–WALK TO RAISE SUICIDE AWARENESS Sunday, November 6th at 2 pm, Piedmont Meadow. The Atlanta Out of the Darkness Community Walk hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a powerful event
for the community to come together and support survivors of suicide and people who have lost loved ones through suicide. Dogs on a leash and kids/strollers are welcome. Food trucks will be there too! Register here or sign up in the Sims atrium at the welcome desk.
CHILDREN & FAMILY Ministry Sing and Play Sunday Meet behind the Fireside Room for a special all-ages Sunday School activity from 10-10:45. Parents, you are encouraged to stay and participate as a family (it’s fun!) but if your child is in Kindergarten- 5th grade, you have the option of dropping them off. Next week, we will be back in our usual, indoor classrooms. Children’s Christmas Program- Rehearsals Stars! Angels! Shepherds! Kings! (and Queens!) We are excited to have our Children's Christmas program back in person this year with our favorite songs and costumes! This is a meaningful way for our kids to make the good news of this ancient and beautiful story fresh each year. Rehearsals will be during Sunday School on October 23, November 6, November 13, and November 27, with a required Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, December 3: 9:30-11:00 am. The performance will be Sunday, December 4: 10 am (9:30 'call time' for performers). Ages 2- 5th grade are welcome. To register, fill out the Sunday School form. If you have already registered for Sunday School, no additional registration is needed. St Martin’s Day Lantern Parade | Saturday, Nov 12, 2022 German Church Atlanta has invited us to join their event again this year. Arrive as early as 4 pm at the Fireside room in the Redeemer parking lot to make a lantern and enjoy delicious homemade German food, including fresh waffles (pay per item by cash or card)! Gather at about 5:45 to see the story of St. Martin acted out, including one of our Lutheranch horses coming for the occasion! Then, join the lantern parade, ending in the sanctuary. No RSVP required. All ages are welcome. Dress for the weather as part of the event is outdoors. Christopher’s Haven Service Opportunity Christopher's Haven is a non-profit that provides housing for children with cancer and their families while they are in treatment at the Proton Therapy Center just down the street from Redeemer. We are developing a partnership so that Redeemer families can support them, starting in your own kitchen! Find more information on how to provide a meal or a sweet treat on the form. We will head to Doll’s Head Trail at Constitution Lakes Park in Atlanta. Middle School Youth Lunch Gathering Our Middle School Youth will gather for lunch on Sunday, November 20 after 11 AM service. Location TBD. Please give a heads-up to Hillary if you plan on attending. High School Our High School Youth will gather for our Youth Lock-In from Saturday, November 12, to Sunday, November 13. We will be heading to the corn maze too. This is our first High School Lock-In since the Fall of 2019! It will be a night of fun, memories, fellowship, and more. Parking at Redeemer Beginning Wednesday, November 9, contractors begin replacing the flat roofs at Redeemer. While this is great news, this will create limited parking in the upper lot. The parking spaces facing the Schroeter Building from the front porch to the Playground walkway will be closed for the roof replacement. The contractor will place the roll-off equipment and supplies in those spaces. During the construction period (approximately 10 days), the spaces in the upper lot are reserved for those with mobility issues. A big Thank You to Mark Helsel, Art Mathews, and the entire Property Team for their hard work in selecting the contractor! Angel Trees - November 13 to December 11 Inspiritus Gift Drive Once again, Redeemer members will have the opportunity to provide gifts for new arrivals through Inspiritus and their outreach ministry. These gifts either through Amazon gift cards, or direct requests will be for children and adults.

Gift cards in any amount will be used for these families as they resettle here in the Atlanta area Write the value on your gift cards and place them in the box by the tree. Goshen Valley Gift Drive Help us create a Merry Christmas for the girls and boys living under Goshen Valley’s care. Harvest Home Concert Saturday, Nov 19 | 7 pm This 16th concert will be streamed live at Redeemer.org and HarvestHomeConcert.org during and can be viewed after the concert. With guest soloists and the music of Aaron Copland, Stephen Paulus, and seasonal favorites we will focus on Home...as much our destination as where we are from...the place where we are welcomed, known and loved. Masks are optional, but the balcony remains a mask-required area for those who desire additional protection. Christmas Program- You’re Invited! Our Children's Christmas Program is back! This year it will be held on Sunday, December 4th at 10 am in the sanctuary. After the program, there is brunch in the Sims Atrium for the whole congregation and Advent activities for kids and their families. Please plan to attend the program and support our kids as they tell this ancient and beautiful story in their own way.
