Important COVID-19 Update All four of our metro counties (Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, and Gwinnett) have been designated by the CDC to have High Covid19 Community Levels. Following our own protocols, Redeemer will again institute a face covering requirement for all indoor activities, including worship, starting tomorrow. Hopefully, if we each do our part, this surge will be of short duration, and we can remove this requirement soon.

Sunday, July 31 Family Service Sunday Join Children and Family Ministries between 10 and 10:45 to help make sandwiches for The Sandwich Project, an organization that provides simple meals to people all over the Atlanta area living with food insecurity. Meet in the Reception Room (on the side of the Atrium). All ages welcome! Summer is a great time to serve and worship together as a family. Donate unused Greeting Cards Bring your non-holiday greeting cards to Redeemer's welcome center. There will be a basket for donated cards. Your cards will be used to bless our at-home members with a note of encouragement. Thank you!
Looking Ahead Slide Into Summer | August 7 Meet up with other Redeemer families with children three and under (older siblings welcome too). We will hang out and play on the Redeemer playground from 10-10:45. If the weather is bad, watch for a cancellation notice the day before. Summer is a great time to make new friends- for kids and adults alike! Thank You Reception | Sunday, August 7 | Sims Atrium Thank you to everyone in the congregation who supported our youth on their travels to Birmingham, AL, for our Middle School Mission Trip and Luther Springs in Hawthorne, FL, for our High School Trip. Our Middle School Mission Trip took place July 10July 15. Our High School Trip will be taking place July 24-July 29. On Sunday, August 7, the youth will share their faith stories from their trips during the worship services and celebrate Redeemer’s generosity with a Thank You Reception following each service! Backpack Blessing Please join us in worship at either service on August 7 for a blessing of the backpacks! We welcome students of all ages along with teachers and other school staff to receive a blessing as they embark on another school year. All are welcome!
Goshen Valley Day of Service On August 27th, from 9:30-1:00, you are invited to serve your neighbors! Goshen Valley is a foster care organization northwest of Atlanta that serves children of all ages and genders who are in need of a safe, healthy home. At their facility known as Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, boys age 9-17 live in a group home setting. Goshen Valley began with the vision and generosity of a Redeemer member, John Blend, and our connection to their ministry remains strong. On the 27th, we will help them with some maintenance and repair tasks, have lunch at the Ranch, and hear more about everything they do to support foster kids and young adults who are making their way in the world alone.
