Zoom Communion following postlude

Second Sunday of Easter

The theme of the Day: In Sunday’s gospel the risen Christ appears to the disciples and offers them the gift of peace Even amid doubts and questions, we experience the resurrection in our Sunday gathering around word and meal, and in our everyday lives

Throughout the coming Sundays of Easter the first two readings will be from the Acts of the Apostles and the first letter of Peter Even as the early Christians proclaimed the resurrection, we rejoice in the new birth and living hope we receive in baptism.

Join us as we welcome Bishop Axel Piper and Pastor Christoph from our Companion Synod - The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria – Church District of Augsburg and Swabia.

Later that evening they will travel to Savannah for a celebration and signing of a 10-year extension agreement as companion synods. Click here: https://www.elca-ses.org/BavariaPartnership for more information

Musicians Needed for Redeemer's Front Porch Summer Band

Redeemer’s Community Engagement ministry voted to organize a band for a summer concert series to bring attention to Redeemer; we are looking for musicians Sally Rosser and Pastor Bonner are proposing that on select Friday evenings during the summer, the band would play from the front porch of Redeemer. This is an evangelism effort to get people to notice our church and not just hurry by us on their way to work, home, or play. For more details, contact Pastor Bonner at rbonner@redeemer.org.
