We had a wonderful Commitment Sunday celebration on Reformation and an excellent response to our stewardship appeal, "Let the Vineyards be Fruitful." If you have not pledged yet, you can submit your pledge of support in a number of ways: Mail the commitment card you received in the mail back to the church. Deposit your commitment card in the offering plate on Sunday. Go to the Giving Page on our website. Email your pledge directly to our Financial Secretary with your pledge amount by the week, month, or year. If you did not receive a Commitment Packet, please let us know. Link to 2024 Brochure

Join us for Worship this Sunday | 9 am & 11 am First Sunday of Advent Pastor Mark H. Larson, preaching The theme of the Day: Stir up your power, and come! The psalmist’s plea in Psalm 80:2 has become familiar to us in the Advent prayers. Isaiah wants God to rip the heavens open. Both cry out for an apparently distant, angry God to show up, to save, to restore. When we hear Jesus describing the coming of the Son of Man with stars falling from heaven, it can sound dire and horrible, not like anything we would ever hope for. But when we really look at the suffering of people God loves, we can share the hope that God would tear open the heavens and come.

Sunday Christmas Program- You’re Invited! Our Children's Christmas Program is back! This year it will be held on Sunday at 10 am in the sanctuary. After the program, there is brunch in the Sims Atrium for the whole congregation and Advent activities for kids and their families. Please plan to attend the program and support our kids as they tell this ancient and beautiful story in their own way. This Sunday we install the newly elected council members during the 9am and 11 am services. They are: Jeff Elkins, Anne Ridenhour, Janet Preston, Terry Longstreth, and Pat Cornwell. We thank God for blessing Redeemer with these committed leaders and ask for your prayers and support for them as they work on your behalf. Please join us Sunday for a reception in honor of Pr. Jenny following the 11 AM service. While she will be with us leading worship on Christmas Eve, today was the most appropriate time to recognize her given the holiday schedule.
