PRAYER WALL REDEDICATION
Prayers written on Redeemer’s Prayer Wall during Lent by our Midtown neighbors have invoked both the fears and struggles, as well as the praises and hopes, of people who place their trust in God.
These prayers written in chalk will be recorded each day and incorporated within the Prayers of the Church.
Redeemer’s Lenten Prayer Wall along our Peachtree Street sidewalk will be rededicated by Pr. Mark Larson to again serve the prayer needs of our Midtown neighbors.
Please join us at this Re-Dedication for prayer, to engage with our neighbors and offer thanks for our Christian community.

Midweek Evening Prayer | Worship at 7:00 PM
Beginning February 25, Conversations with Jesus: Services of Word and Healing for Lent
This Lent, the Gospel readings invite us to listen in as Jesus engages in deep, searching conversations with friends and with challengers alike. We encounter Jesus speaking with Satan, Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman at the well, the man born blind, and Mary and Martha. In our midweek Lenten worship, we will step into these conversations, taking our cue from the previous Sunday’s Gospel Together, we will reflect on what each encounter reveals about faithful discipleship today What do these voices help us see about our own lives? And how might Jesus speak into our questions, confusions, and longing for healing now?
Each week, we will gather around Word and Table, celebrating the Lord’s Supper, and we will also be invited into prayers for healing through the laying on of hands and anointing with oil.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Hunger Walk Run is a celebrated annual event and community energizer, bringing people together in solidarity with a collective goal to end hunger. On March 9, Team Redeemer will walk (or run!) to benefit our Lutheran Community Food Ministry, as well as the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Inspiritus.
Hunger Walk Run is a hybrid event, which means it takes place everywhere: at the Home Depot Backyard next to Mercedes Benz Stadium, as well as on every sidewalk, track, and trail in your own neighborhood. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to walk or run wherever you are most comfortable gathering. Festivities at the Home Depot Backyard kick off at noon with onsite registration and entertainment. The 5K Fun Walk and Run starts at 2 p.m. and the event ends at 4 p.m.

MARCH 15, 2025
THE HOME DEPOT BACKYARD 12-4PM | IN PERSON & VIRTUAL
The Hunger Walk Run takes place rain or shine but please know that the Atlanta Community Food Bank closely monitors conditions that could impact safely holding an in-person event If you prefer not to walk at home or at the Home Depot Backyard, consider walking in prayer for all who face hunger, poverty, and food insecurity.
As an added incentive, the first $250 in donations to Team Redeemer will be matched 1:1 Last year we raised $3,139, which placed Redeemer in the top ten of the Lutheran Hunger Walk Run teams for 2025. Let’s do it again in 2026!
Thank you for your support, and please contact Lorraine Dorough, team captain, at ledorough@gmailcom for assistance in registering or for more information.
