MURDERED & MISSING INDIGENOUS WOMEN (MMIW) REDDING RANCHERIA
May 5th is significant in recognition of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Day that is dedicated to creating awareness for this epidemic. The MMIW is significant in Indian Country because it is a crisis that has left thousands upon thousands of indigenous women/men missing or murdered. We have changed the colors of the Redding Rancheria Tribal Office and the Win-River Resort & Casino’s “Basket” to red to honor those missing, murdered and the families affected.
