Phases will account for 2,120 construction jobs resulting in $99.1 million in new construction-related wages.

Phases will account for an additional 550 direct job opportunities resulting in $12.2 million in new wages.

These new wages will be spent and taxed in the local community.

Shasta County charges a 7.25% sales tax, consisting of a 6% State tax, 1% special tax, and .25% County tax. The 6% State tax will apply to on-reservation retail sales in the form of a use tax. The Tribe will charge an additional 1.25% sales tax for on-reservation retail sales to ensure on-reservation businesses and offreservations businesses pay the same net tax rate of 7.25%.

State taxes gaming revenues – (1) Special Distribution Fund provides funding to local government agencies impacted by tribal gaming; (2) Revenue Sharing Fund provides funding to non-gaming tribes.
