Tribal Chairman Jack Potter Jr. attended the 2024 Tribal Nations Summit, getting a picture with President Joe Biden and seeing several other significant figures such as Secretary of Interior Deb Haaland, Assistant Secretary Bryan Newland and many more.
The Tribal Nations Summit, held at the White House, is an annual convening of the Federal government and Indian Country, and reflects the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to strengthening Nationto-Nation relationships. The Summit reinforces the fundamental principles of Tribal sovereignty, Tribal Self Determination, and the federal governments trust responsibility, in order that Native Nations and Native peoples thrive, prosper, and retain their reserved rights.
The Summit brings together the President of the United States, their Cabinet, federal executive agency heads, and leaders invited from all federally recognized Tribes for direct government-to-government dialogue of the Federal governments Indian Country policy priorities, and to hear from Tribes their own priorities, in order to develop Indian Country agendas for the future. Tribal leaders have the opportunity to have meaningful conversations directly with senior Administration officials on implementation of key priorities, new policies, and other critical issues facing Tribal Nations.

On the evening of the party, everyone was dressed for the occasion, including a few dressed to express the theme of the Grinch. Many of the Team Members took advantage of the Christmas setting to have their pictures taken while others took advantage of the 360-photo booth. There were holiday themed drinks at the bar, raffles and of course Plinko. Lots of prizes to be had, food to enjoy, and of course plenty of socializing was done. We are honored by the efforts and dedication of our team members and this event is a token of appreciation to thank them. Happy Holidays to all!

On Friday, December 13, 2024, we came together to celebrate at the annual Redding Rancheria Employee Holiday Party, and what a night it was! The evening sparkled with joy, laughter, and holiday cheer as our incredible employees enjoyed delicious food, exciting prizes, and each other’s company.
Our employees are the heart and soul of everything we do, driving the tribe forward with their unwavering dedication and commitment. We dream big, set bold goals, and create vivid visions for the future, but none of it would be possible without the incredible people who make it all happen.
This year’s holiday party was our biggest yet! The Win-River Resort & Casino Banquets Department truly outdid themselves, serving more employees than ever before. It was a night that won’t be forgotten, and we’re already wondering how we’ll top it next year — but we’re more than up for the challenge!
As we reflect on 2024, we are grateful for the blessings this year has brought us and for the opportunities we have created together. We look forward to 2025 with optimism and excitement, ready to build an even brighter future for our home. Here is to more success, happiness, and positivity in the year to come!
2024 HOLIDAY LUNCHEON TO REMEMBER REDDING RANCHERIA
On Monday, December 16, 2024, we gathered to celebrate the holiday season and honor incredible career milestones alongside some of the most amazing employees we’re lucky to call family. The Holiday Luncheon is more than just a tradition—it’s a time to come together, break bread, and share joy in our most festive holiday attire.
This year, we proudly recognized our five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, and even thirty-year employees! The honoring did not stop there. We also presented awards to our six guiding value winners. What a beautiful testament to dedication, growth, and community. Seeing so many familiar faces throughout the years reminds us of the shared journey we’re all on together. Your hard work and loyalty inspire us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
During the luncheon, we also unveiled some exciting news—our Employee of the Month for December 2024 is none other than Jamael Kinsey! Congratulations, Jamael! Your contributions have been truly exceptional, and this honor is well-deserved.
The room fell delightfully silent as Odell’s BBQ worked its magic, stealing the show with some of the tastiest food in town. (We’re still thinking about the brisket!) Once our plates were cleared, the fun kicked into high gear with a lively contest that truly captured the holiday spirit.
The Behavioral Health Department had everyone in stitches with their wildly creative reenactment of a Christmas tree lot, complete with a mean hombre tree. The hilarious antics of serious-yet-silly Christmas Business Ladies! Their creativity and humor brought so much joy to the day—it’s safe to say they all outdid themselves!
As the afternoon came to a close, a bittersweet realization set in: we’ll have to wait an entire year to do this all over again. But until then, we carry these memories with us—a reminder of the laughter, camaraderie, and festive spirit that make this team truly special.

The 7th Annual Redding Rancheria Turkey and Games event was a heartwarming celebration of laughter, joy, and community spirit! This year, we were delighted to give away 500 FREE turkeys and board games, spreading holiday cheer and brightening the season for local families.
As we gather to celebrate this special time of year, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude and togetherness—the true essence of the holidays. The Redding Rancheria Turkey and Games event has grown into a beloved tradition, uniting families, friends, and neighbors in a festive, inclusive atmosphere.

HOLIDAY HAM GIVEAWAY TO SUPPORT SHASTA DAM KIWANIS AND COMMUNITY
Round #2 for this season’s holiday giveaway! On Wednesday, December 18, our Redding Rancheria Economic Development (RREDCO) and Sundial Collective team, participated in the 3rd annual ham giveaway. With true teamwork and caring hearts, the team showed up and loaded 140 hams to donate and distribute to the Shasta Dam Kiwanis Club, the Good News Rescue Mission, and the Western Services Workers Association. We are proud to help serve our community and provide a few helping hands along the way!
