Dear Parents and Caregivers, There was much excitement among our students this past week. The Oz Opera incursion on Wednesday provided a very special insight into the sometimesconfusing world of opera. Their production of Cinderella was the perfect way to engage a young audience and to show how appealing opera can be, even for school children. A thoroughly good time was had by all, and we really appreciated the visit from Oz Opera, which has been missed over the past couple of years because of the pandemic. Congratulations are due to our choirs, who took part in the Sydney Eisteddfod at the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood, as well as to our cross country runners who participated in the ASISSA Championships in Queens Park yesterday. Both events saw our students excel and keep the Reddam House flag flying high. My sincere thanks to Mr Copper and to Mr and Mrs Bortolotti for all their additional organisation this week in sport and choir. Next Wednesday is the Finals of the Instrumental Competition, the culmination of many hours of practising and perfecting musical pieces. We wish all of our musicians everything of the best and know that the audience is in for a treat as our students show off their musical prowess. Enjoy the weekend! Dee Pitcairn Principal
