Program Notes I am absolutely thrilled to present our very first High School Dance Showcase at Reddam House. In not quite two years, we are already seeing a vibrant Dance culture emerge within our school. Students have joined us from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and levels of training, coming together to create a diverse, inclusive and increasingly powerful voice through Dance. Tonight is a celebration of our growing community, the extraordinary talent and passion for Dance as an art form that exists within it, and the exciting future that lies ahead. I would like to thank our incredible Executive Team – Mr Dave Pitcairn, Mr Nick Jolly, Mrs Kylie Chacon and Mr Nathan Russell – for your unwavering support and encouragement. You play such an important role in shaping the culture of our school, creating an environment where creativity is valued, individuality is celebrated and students are encouraged to pursue their passions. A very special thank you to our insanely talented Term 4 Dance Faculty – Teneill Loneragan, Audrey Dumer-Zenou, Jamie Reisin and Elise Tamatea – for the time, energy and creativity you have invested in bringing tonight's performances to life. Thank you for your dedication to our students and for encouraging each young dancer to take risks, discover their potential and develop confidence in themselves.
Program Notes And finally, thank you to our dancers. You inspire us every day and make us endlessly proud. The progress you have made this year, both individually and collectively, has been wonderful to witness. Equally special are the friendships, connections and creative relationships that have developed along the way. Watching you grow not only as dancers, but as a community, has been an absolute privilege. Tonight, I hope you take a moment to recognise just how much you have achieved. Be proud of what you have created, celebrate one another and, most importantly, enjoy the opportunity to share your love of Dance with our community.
