Stella Blómkvist Sexy, stylish Icelandic crime drama starring Heida Reed (“Poldark”) Heida Reed (“Poldark”) stars as quick-witted lawyer Stella Blómkvist, in this stylish neo-noir crime drama that’s as sexy as it is dangerous. Stella Blómkvist is not your typical lawyer. Smart and ruthless, with a dark past, a fluid sexuality and a taste for whiskey and easy money, Stella takes on cases that always lead to danger; and the only thing she likes about rules is breaking them, or using them to break her opponents. Her investigations in Season One include the murder of young woman Halla, an assistant to the Prime Minister of Iceland. When Stella has to represent Sæmi, who was found standing over the body covered in blood, everyone is convinced it’s an open-andshut case.

23 Cases A tough female detective recruits the help of a ruthless killer “23 Cases” is a twisted psychological crime thriller that sees a tough female detective take on a ruthless serial killer. The city of Berlin is in a state of panic. A serial killer has just claimed their twenty-third victim, and the police are under pressure to make an arrest. When Maximilian Rapp confesses to all the murders, the killer’s reign of terror appears to be over. But even after Rapp has been convicted, CID detective Tara Schöll isn’t convinced he’s the killer; the arrest was too easy, and some facts just aren’t adding up. Soon after, Schöll and her police partner uncover irrefutable evidence that proves Rapp couldn’t be responsible for all 23 of the murders. To avoid a public scandal, Schöll must now reopen the case and find the real killer without anyone outside the police department finding out. To make matters more complicated, Rapp has offered to help in the investigation. It soon becomes clear that Rapp has a unique perspective on the crimes, and a suspicious ability to spot even the smallest of clues.

What is Rapp hiding? Did he really have nothing to do with the murders? Is he working with Schöll, or against her? And most urgently, is he dangerous? These are just some of the questions Schöll has to ask herself as time is running out, and another victim has been found. A Matter of Life and Debt The human stories behind loans for money, in this inspiring new series for the BBC Every day millions of people around the world find themselves in desperate need of cash because traditional banks have turned them down for a loan. A money loan can mean so much more than just the cash: it can be a lifeline, a second chance, and the difference between giving up on a dream and watching one come true.

Each episode of “A Matter of Life and Debt tells the stories of four or five people applying for loans, from a guy who needs capital to start his own ice cream van business, to a retired teacher who needs money to insulate her home after a stroke. Is Love Racist? The Dating Game

Inside the crazy world of Apple

A powerful film about dating and race

This fascinating new documentary tells the story of legendary superstars The Beatles and their company, Apple Corps.

Is using race as a filter in online dating just an acceptable preference, or does it expose us as a nation of romantic racists?

In 1967 The Beatles had a vision for a new kind of company that would revolutionize the music industry and unleash a wave of creativity across music, publishing, electronics, film and fashion. For the next few years, in part thanks to Apple Corps, London became the most exciting place to be on the planet, as the company’s headquarters - 3 Savile Row - became the epicentre of the psychedelic revolution.

In a unique series of experiments, sociologist Emma Dabiri examines the role race plays in the world of contemporary dating. The show draws on information from a panel of volunteers, and commissioned the first national poll of its kind to survey 5,000 people about their online dating behavior.

This revealing documentary draws on rare archive footage, period music and intimate interviews with the people whose bosses were The Beatles, many of whom have never spoken publicly before, including Hollywood legend Peter Coyote, and the only survivor of the original Badfinger Iine-up, Joey Molland. “Entertaining and surprising… a Beatles documentary with a difference” – The Independent Factual // 1 x 52’ Produced by Nerd TV for Sky Arts (UK) 62 | Factual
