POLIGON FOR DISSEMINATION : SERBIAN ARCHITECTURAL JOURNAL

The faculty publishes the scientific journal Serbian Architectural Journal (SAJ) (ISSN 1821-3952), which is one of the few journals in the theory of architecture in the region, founded in Belgrade in 2009.

It is conceived as a polygon of interdisciplinary research in which texts from the fields of architecture, urbanism, art history, urban sociology and cultural studies are published in English.

The journal’s mission is multiple:

• SAJ critically examines the state of contemporary architectural theory within the framework of the European cultural context,

• SAJ discusses the formal and philosophical foundations on which contemporary architectural practice is based and

• SAJ advocates for finding new theoretical interpretations within the contemporary discourse of architecture.
