MY NAME IS BORIS LANEGRA AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE HUMAN RESOURCES TEAM FOR THIS SPACE TO TELL YOU ABOUT MYSELF FIRST, I WOULD LIKE TO SEND REGARDS TO THE LEADERS THAT SELECTED ME A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO TO BE PART OF THE NEWTON TEAM, AND WHO GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD THE IT SERVICES IN THE SCHOOL. I HAVE ACCEPTED THE RESPONSABILITY OF MANAGING THE IT TEAM WITH ENTHUSIASM AND RESPONSABILITY SINCE DAY ONE
I AM A COMPUTER ENGINEER AND HOLD A MASTER’S DEGREE IN ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS I ALSO HOLD AN EXECUTIVE MBA, WHICH I RECENTLY COMPLETED. ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE OBTAINED SOME CERTIFICATIONS SUCH AS ITIL, PM, COBIT FOUNDATION, SCRUM MASTER AND AWS PRACTITIONER, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRACTISE AND GOVERNMENT OF IT, AS WELL AS SEVERAL STUDIES RELATED TO MY PROFESSION
WITH REGARDS TO MY EXPERIENCE, I HAVE WORKED IN SEVERAL SECTORS AND TYPES OF ORGANISATIONS THROUGHOUT MY 19 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, ALWAYS IN IT ROLES MY LAST EXPERIENCE WAS 5 YEARS IN THE EDUCATION SECTOR, WHICH I HOPE TO APPLY IN THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF OUR SCHOOL I CAN STRONGLY AFFIRM THAT THE EDUCATION SECTOR HAS BEEN THE MOST REWARDING TO ME AS A PROFESSIONAL, DUE TO THE IMPACT IT HAS ON THE STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS ON YOUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
IN THESE FIRST FEW DAYS, I HAVE WITNESSED THE EXCELLENT INFRASTRUCTURE AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES WE HAVE AT NEWTON, LED BY OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONALS WITH A STRONG COMMITMENT TO SERVICE, TALENT AND RESPONSIBILITY I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU PERSONALLY, AND TOGETHER, WE WILL TACKLE THE TASKS AND CHALLENGES AHEAD BY EVALUATING THE BEST POSSIBLE TECHNOLOGY THAT ADDS VALUE TO BOTH PARENTS AND STUDENTS

We joyfully celebrate the first place achieved in the Primary Education major. We are confident that her talent and commitment will take her far in her teaching career.
