8 Annual Fall Fling Golf Tournament Silent Auction in Support of MELP

September 29, 2017 – October 1, 2017

Rectory’s Fall Fling Golf Tournament Silent Auction proceeds support scholarships for MELP, Rectory's signature March Experiential Learning Program, which provides students with unique opportunities to explore interests and learn outside of the classroom. The MELP Scholarship Fund helps many students have their dream MELP, no matter their financial circumstances.

Auction Conditions 1. Online bidding for the Silent Auction will begin Friday, September 29, 2017 and end Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00pm (Eastern Standard Time). Online bidders will have a proxy bidder who will bid on the item(s) for them, who will start with the opening bid and go up to the final bid. To place an online bid, please email Fred.Nagle@rectoryschool.org with the following information: a. Your Name b. Your Phone Number c. What Item(s) You’re Bidding On d. Your Opening Bid e. Your Final Bid (the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item) 2. Winning bidders will be contacted no later than Wednesday, October 4, 2017. At that point arrangements will be made for payment and delivery of purchased items.

3. Successful bidders in the Silent Auction will be expected to pay for their items within one week of the Silent Auction closing. Payment in full is required to receive your item(s). The cost of shipping will be included in the final amount charged.

4. There will be a minimum bid for all items as noted. There will be no bid accepted in the Silent Auction that is below the established minimum bid.

5. All Auction bidding is binding and all sales are final. Payment may be made by check (payable to Rectory School) or by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover online at www.rectoryschool.org/give

6. The Internal Revenue Service requires that we notify you that only the difference between fair market value of an item and the actual price paid by the purchaser may be taken as a tax donation. The values of some items are donor estimates only.

Round of Golf at the Site of the U.S. Open

Golf where the world's pros do! Please note that carts are not allowed and a round at Merion is expected to last approximately 4 hours, so golfing ability should be considered.

Mark Waitkus Paintings

Artist Mark Waitkus is passionate about painting, sports and nostalgia, and his work has been commisioned by many of the area’s professional sports teams. These prints are signed by the artist and celebrate the arenas where so many Boston teams have celebrated championships in recent years. We are auctioning off four paintings: David Ortiz Fairwell Celebration, Patriots Leader of the Pack, Red Sox 2013 World Series, 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway.

One Week of Camp at Windham Tolland 4H Camp

A lucky boy or girl, ages 6 through 15, will be able to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to go to a first class summer camp for a week right in Rectory's backyard. The Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp has been serving area children and families since 1954.

Located in Pomfret Center, CT, the camp’s 270 acres contain woodlands, cabins, recreational areas, and scenic ponds. Their goal is to use cooperative activities to promote each camper’s social and emotional development. 4-H's caring, camper-centered staff is committed to providing safe, educational and fun experiences for every child. The camp is licensed by the State of Connecticut and is fully accredited by the American Camp Association.
