Detroit Zoo-Senior Day Wednesday June 1st, 2022

Today we are heading to enjoy a special day at the Detroit Zoo on Senior Day. Seniors 62 and older receive free admission. Senior Day features live music, tractor train rides, bingo, zookeeper talks and a senior resource area. The zoo has made many updates since we were last there. Plan to visit the Penguin House, the new Tiger habitat and the new Red Panda exhibit. Seniors younger than 62 may be asked to pay the admission price of $23.00 at the gate. Meadowbrook Theatre Sunday June 5th, 2022

This musical is an intimate tribute to the life and music of Patsy Cline's whose life was tragically cut short in a 1963 plane crash. Her talent, tenacity, and determination live on through her songs and inspiring story. We will have an early dinner before heading to the Meadowbrook Theatre. The show and transportation are included in your ticket price. Dinner is on your own. Detroit Tour and Belle Isle Wednesday June 15th, 2022

Toady we travel to the beautiful city of Detroit where we meet tour guide for a brief sightseeing walking tour along the Detroit River. Next we board our bus for a narrated driving tour through Rivertown in route to Sindbads for a delicious Lunch. After lunch its time for the Historic Indian Village driving tour. You will see the lavish homes and lifestyle of prominent early Detroiters as we travel to Belle Isle. Once on the island we will enjoy a driving tour of the island and a brief leisurely stroll through the new Pete Oudolf Garden. Then our group will have a private tour of the Aquarium followed by a self- guided tour of Anna Scripts Whitcombe Conservatory. Everything is included in the price of this trip. Drag Queen Bingo Saturday June 25th, 2022

This ain’t your Grandma’s Bingo! We will be heading to Wyandotte for a fun alternative to your usual bingo night. Enjoy bingo called by hilariously talented Drag Queens. There will be a coffee, tea, pop, and snack bar available on your own. Price includes bingo cards. We will have diner at Leons in Taylor before heading to Wyandotte. Detroit Fireworks Monday June 27th, 2022

The Detroit Princess is the best location on the river to view Detroit ’s Freedom Festival Fireworks! Featuring a Motown Revue by the ‘Prolifics’ on one level and DJ entertainment on another, dinner buffet featuring freshly carved Tender Prime Rib, marinated and sliced Juicy Pork Tenderloin, Baked Chicken and Marinated Portabella Mushrooms with sides including Chef’s Choice of Potatoes, Cheese Tortellini, Steamed Fresh Vegetables, Michigan Tossed Salad with add-ons, dessert, coffee, hot tea and ice water. All taxes are included. A full service bar will be available for purchase of all other beverages with CC/Debit and cash accepted at bar. The fireworks will start around 10:00pm and the boat will stay docked for the entire evening. We will be close enough to have the best view in the city, but at a safe distance from the fireworks. NOTICE TO TRAVELERS This is a reminder that the time schedule for trips are leaving times and not boarding times. Please be there at least 15 minutes prior to leaving. We WILL NOT be calling you to see where you are. If you are late, we will be forced to leave you behind. We are on a tight schedule and each stop on the trip is scheduled at a particular time with the businesses. There will not be any refund because we have paid for the number of people that signed up for the trip.
