Today we will be traveling to the Plymouth Ice Festival. This world-class event in downtown Plymouth features world renown ice carvers who have created over 60 carvings to be displayed during this year’s event! We will also be able to explore the local businesses in the downtown area. Before the festival, we will sit down for a late lunch at Annie’s Family Restaurant in Livonia. All costs are on your own.

Today we are traveling to Sabina’s Restaurant in Melvindale for an early dinner. Enjoy authentic and traditional Polish recipes using only the finest ingredients. Dinner costs will be on your own.

Fish Fry Friday, February 16, 2024 The Multi-Lakes Conservation Association hosts a casual Friday Fish Fry at their Club House year round. It’s nothing fancy but is a bargain that’s popular with the locals. Join us for a ride to Commerce Charter Township at the start of the Lenten season. As of now, the cost is $13 for seniors which you pay at the door. They accept cash or credit card. Drinks are extra. All costs are on your own. The buffet menu consists of: fried fish, baked fish, broasted chicken, macaroni & cheese, fries, coleslaw, rolls & butter. We will aim to arrive before start time as it can get quite busy. We are on a tight schedule and each stop on the trip is scheduled at a particular time with the businesses. There will not be any refund because we have paid for the number of people that signed up for the trip. PLEASE NOTE: There is no reserved bus seating. Seats are first come-first serve. Any special request will be at the discretion of the escort and based on availability. All travelers MUST remain with the group at all times; exception to this is free-time within the trip as announced by the escort.

SEE DETAILED FLYER DNR Solar Eclipse & Ivanhoe Cafe Thursday, February 29, 2024 Today we are headed to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in Detroit for a hands-on session with Professor Ed Cackett, the Chair of the Department of Physics & Astronomy at Wayne State University. During this session, you’ll learn what to expect during the upcoming eclipse in April 2024 and how best to view it. Weather permitting, solar telescopes will be used to look at the Sun’s surface. Upon arrival, there will be coffee and snacks to hold you over until lunch. Afterwards, we will head over to Ivanhoe Cafe at the Polish Yacht Club for a meal. Lunch costs will be on your own.
