PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS/ WEATHER-RELATED CLOSURES

Please refer to the session meeting dates in your ActiveNet account, or see your instructor on the first day of your program for a schedule. If there is a change in the schedule, you will be informed by Parks and Recreation staff of the update. If you are not sure whether a program will be held, call our program cancellation line at 301-600-6291. During inclement weather, outdoor programs may be cancelled. Every effort will be made to make-up missed classes. Refunds will not be granted for rescheduled classes that are missed due to conflicts with personal schedules. The Division of Parks and Recreation may cancel a program for any reasonable cause.

AGE POLICY

Program participants must be the advertised age of the program before the program ends. All age requirements are set to benefit the participants and to make sure the activity curriculum is consistent and safe.

REFUND POLICY

Our refund policy encourages early decisions, so as to not affect other customers or our ability to deliver efficient programs. All requests for refunds must be made at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. A 20% administrative fee will be charged per refund transaction. Refunds for Sports League registrations must be made prior to the listed league registration deadline.

There are no refunds for missed sessions.

COVID-19 REFUND POLICY

In light of COVID-19, we have revised our refund policy. If a participant is unable to continue in a program due to illness or exposure related to COVID-19, they will receive a credit that is pro-rated based on the number of days that is missed of said program(s). The participant may request a refund of the credit via email at parksandrecreation@frederickcountymd.gov or by calling the Central Office at 301-600-2936.

A commitment of 1 night per week is needed for this 16+ pickup program. Participants form their own teams and self-officiate. BodyChecking is NOT allowed. Play will be limited to stick checks and minimal (involuntary) body checks.

Season: Tuesdays, April 13 - June 1 Meetings: 7:00-9:00pm Tuesday evenings on the Othello Park Turf Field.

Equipment: All registrants will receive an XL reversible jersey. All athletes must provide their own equipment (helmet, sticks, gloves, etc).
