PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS/ WEATHER-RELATED CLOSURES

Please refer to the session meeting dates in your ActiveNet account, or see your instructor on the first day of your program for a schedule. If there is a change in the schedule, you will be informed by Parks and Recreation staff of the update. If you are not sure whether a program will be held, call our program cancellation line at 301-600-6291. During inclement weather, outdoor programs may be cancelled. Every effort will be made to make-up missed classes. Refunds will not be granted for rescheduled classes that are missed due to conflicts with personal schedules. The Division of Parks and Recreation may cancel a program for any reasonable cause.

AGE POLICY

Program participants must be the advertised age of the program before the program ends. All age requirements are set to benefit the participants and to make sure the activity curriculum is consistent and safe.

REFUND POLICY

Our refund policy encourages early decisions, so as to not affect other customers or our ability to deliver efficient programs.

All requests for refunds must be made at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. A 20% administrative fee will be charged per refund transaction. Refunds for Sports League registrations must be made prior to the listed league registration deadline. There are no refunds for missed sessions.

Parents/participants will receive an email invite from the league commissioner prior to the first practice, and all you have to do is accept.
