Students are introduced to standard outlining and continue building their use of descriptive language, grammar, and figures of speech. They also learn how to use language to paint clear pictures for their readers resulting in more engaging and well-written paragraphs. Creative grammar and figurative language skills are further developed through both poetry and paragraph writing. Students will have a portfolio to show evidence of learning at the end of the class.
