by Crystal Shum Need help planning a wedding? How about your first dance? Crystal is an event coordinator and a dance teacher! She is one of our preferred coordinators because she is extremely professional and wellorganized! Crystal began her professional career 7 years ago by planning impeccable dance recitals. It did not take her long to expand her horizons. The best way to learn about weddings is to work directly alongside wedding vendors. Crystal has worked at bridal shops, DJ companies, and many wedding coordinating businesses to prepare her for her own business. By gaining employment with various vendors, Crystal learned all of the ins and outs it takes to plan a perfect wedding.

Flowerfetti Poppers Put down the bubbles and raise the poppers!

Follow these simple steps to create your custom flowerfetti wedding poppers.

Supplies Cake push popper, dried flowers, scissors, tape, paper, and writing utensils.

Step one: Fill the push popper with dry flower petals and close the lid.

Step Two: Cut your paper to the circumference of your push popper.

Step Two: Decorate your label! When you are done simply tape the label to your push popper.

Miriam & Erik October 13, 2018

Miriam & Erik met when Erik’s friend brought him to church one-night back in 2013 and the two lovebirds have been by each other’s side ever since! Their mutual faith, commitment to one another, and of course their love for all things Disney was the foundation that brought the pair to a very special rainy day in January of 2017. On that day, while in the realm of Fantasy Faire at Disneyland, Erik asked Miriam for her hand in marriage surrounded by both their families. Truly a dream come true moment!

And on the hunt they went for the perfect castle to say I do when they stumbled upon Recreation Park 18 Golf Course!

The proposal wasn’t the end to this fairy tale story, it was just the beginning! Miriam and Erik found the perfect, subtlest ways to incorporate décor elements for their Snow White themed ceremony & reception. Lining the walkway down the aisle with branches & lanterns to offer a soft glow as Miriam glided down the pathway to her future hubby. Truly picturesque!

The reception was complete with candy apple favors, crimson red napkins to match the bridesmaid’s dresses, and a dessert bar with faux green hedges and moss to truly make you feel like you were celebrating among the little critters in the forest! We will say it again & again... it’s truly in the details people!

Private Event Coordinator -Tawnya Wright-

In 1995, I moved from the Bay Area to Long Beach, CA to pursue a degree in fashion design.

After graduating from Brooks College in 1997, I fell into the Halloween industry where I worked for over 20 years. During this time, I had many opportunities to create event design assets for family and friend’s functions. In 2017, I had the pleasure of working with Juliann at Rec Park while planning my daughter’s Sweet 16, which is when I really started getting the itch to change careers.

After about two years, that dream is coming true! I have always had a nice balance between creative and technical abilities, so working as a Private Event Coordinator is right up my alley!
