Illuminated wonderland returns Town Times report

A different type of holiday lighting will illuminate the grounds of Lyman Orchards once again this

winter. The Dazzlingliffe Lantern Festival, featuring more than 400 displays, began Tuesday and will run daily from dusk to 9:30 p.m. through Jan. 31. The illuminated

lanterns are located along a winding, 1-mile walking path at Lyman Orchards, located at 70 Lyman

Ever since Helen Keller challenged the Lions in 1925 to become “knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness,” Lions Clubs International has championed the cause, serving and advocating for the blind and visually impaired. Nearly a century later, this longstanding mission continues unhindered throughout the world, and here in the Middlefield-DurhamMiddletown area.
