Plainville announces ‘innovative’ 4-day work week program Press Release
The Town of Plainville is pleased to announce the commencement of an innovative six-month pilot program aimed at enhancing services for residents while adopting a four-day work week schedule for our dedicated staff.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 21, the Municipal Center, Recreation Department and Youth Services Department will be adjusting their hours of operation to provide extended accessibility to the com-
munity. The revised hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Municipal Center, Recreation Department and Youth Services Department will be closed Friday. The Senior Center is also participating in the pilot program, offering the following hours: Monday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m; Tuesday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Senior Center will be closed Fridays.
