Library project needs donors By Christian Metzger Record-Journal staff

Despite significant cutbacks, rising construction costs caused by supply chain issues have caused the building to go over the $17 million approved by voters during the November referendum in 2021. Mike Miller, owner of The Salty Dog Tavern Plainville, stands behind the bar at the business, which is under renovation in the former Hop Haus space at 24 Whiting St. in Plainville.
