Wiederhold Foundation to install several backup generators to keep the animals safe during power outages.
The John T. and Jane A. Wiederhold Foundation seeks to protect and improve the well-being of animals, especially cats and dogs. Parisella to lead boys soccer program The North Haven High School Athletics Department announced the appointment of John Parisella as head coach of the boys soccer team. Parisella’s coaching experience spans over 35 years. A product of North Haven Public Schools, Parisella was a four-year soccer player at Eastern Connecticut State University.
Once out of college, Parisella immersed himself in the coaching world, taking the JV position at North Haven High School in 1985. From there, he coached all ages in the North Haven Soccer Club, and for the past four years has been the assistant varsity coach at NHHS.
Also, Parisella has been the North Haven Soccer Club’s Director of Coaching for the past 15 years and was recognized as the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association’s Coach of the Year in 2019. See Parisella, A3
