Typically, Timberlin closes for the winter in the early days of December. But this year, the warm weather extended the season to Dec. 13. In 2020, a total of 48,048 rounds were played, compared to 45,035 in 2019 and 42,460 in 2018.

Berlin resident Veach, elected to her first twoyear term in November, will serve on the legislature’s Planning and Development, Judiciary, and Education committees.

With the start of the 2021 legislative session edging closer, Veach said she's eager to get going. "I'm excited to get started and look forward to meeting with each of the committee's members and bringing a new voice to the committee process," said Veach. "Like many of my colleagues, I wear several hats: someone with almost 40 years of professional business experience,
