SPRING 2026

Dear Norwalk residents,

As spring arrives and our city begins to bloom, we are reminded of renewal, possibility, and the quiet strength found in community. Longer days and fresh beginnings invite us to reconnect with our neighbors, with nature, and with the shared values that make Norwalk a place we are proud to call home. This season, the Department of Social Services continues its commitment to giving back, uplifting our neighbors, and nurturing the connections that help our community thrive. Our team is here to ensure every resident feels seen, supported, and valued. Whether you are navigating our case management programs, accessing resources for veterans or families, or searching for meaningful ways to get involved, we are ready to walk alongside you every step of the way. At the Norwalk Senior Center, spring brings renewed energy and opportunities to learn, create, and connect. Our offerings include fitness and wellness classes, engaging workshops, social gatherings, and outings that celebrate the season, all designed to keep our community active, inspired, and supported. Through our Senior Nutrition and food assistance programs, we remain dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to nourishing meals as we move into the warmer months.

This year, we continue celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Norwalk Senior Center, marking decades of service, care, and connection for our senior community. As we embrace the spirit of spring, we hope you find moments of joy, growth, and belonging. Attending a community event, spending time with neighbors, or reaching out for support are all ways we strengthen the fabric of our Norwalk family. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you. Together, we can make this spring a season of renewal, generosity, and shared care. Warm regards,
