Dear readers, I recently read an interesting article about honesty and loyalty. The conclusion was that honesty and loyalty build trust for long-term business benefits. Here is an example. Two parties are at risk of being responsible for a certain wrong doing, If one lies with an intention to reduce his risk of being penalized and the other is honest, the research finds that the loss or negative impact will eventually weigh more on both parties. If both are loyal toward each other, the penalization toward both sides is much less. It concludes that being honest and loyal benefits both more and brings about long-term business profitability; thus, collaboration and cooperation should be greatly encouraged. Many have proven that in today's marketplace, cooperative effort brings about a winwin situation. As in any industry, the printing industry needs more collaboration, than competition, in pricing. Recharge Asia recently had the honor of attending CET Group’s 20th anniversary celebration at Lang Fan of Beijing. Those in attendance were impressed not only by its twenty years of accomplishments— producing thousands of types of high-quality products, rising as one of

he last 20 years have been a continuous diligent effort of building a physical infrastructure of production facilities and distribution centers for solid product lines and entering and expanding its market share in Europe and North America. The philosophy of the company’s founder and CEO, Mr. Steven Ma, is to strive to provide his customers the very best. Quality is not just what he talks about, but what he delivers consistently. The next 20 years will see another breakthrough in building an information infrastructure as part of CET Group’s global business model, to connect it with its global partners and customers, ensuring speedy information flow and effective feedback. The other big project for the future is CET Group’s one-billion-square-feet, state-of-the-art production facility, which is already under construction in Cao Fei Dian, Hebei province. CET will also have distribution centers in Singapore, Guangdong, and Shanghai. My impression of CET Group’s factory struck me as interesting. It is clean, well-organized, and efficient. There is a systematic order for each stage of the production process, and it has somehow reflected Steven Ma’s personality—a focused dedication striving for perfection. The entire company, in fact,

the industry’s shining stars—but also by its blue map for the next 20 years. It included the construction of another mega-scale, state-of-theart, one-billion-square-feet facility and a global business model. This is what the company’s strong leadership envisions going forward.

here’s a preoccupation, almost an obsession, with e-commerce these days. Amazon is constantly in the news as it continues to set web traffic and sales records and to finally make some money. esellers are flocking to the platform to oin their marketplace in a search for e-commerce after the widespread failure of their own independent efforts. I, along with many others, have written numerous articles on e-commerce and how important it is for the future survival of small independent resellers. So what’s going wrong e’ve seen many office products resellers independent e-commerce efforts fail, and we’ve seen many oin mazon and other online marketplaces. The uestion I’m e ploring here is whether or not oining the mazon platform is likely to be the salvation resellers have been searching for in their uest to oin the digital world and to develop e-commerce The problem at Amazon, particularly for the smaller, relatively unsophisticated reseller, is that it’s really difficult to make any money. Then, to compound that problem, Amazon owns all the customers, not the resellers. nfortunately, resellers may be going to mazon for the wrong reasons. It’s tough not to admire what mazon has accomplished but, we have to remember they didn’t get to their dominant position overnight. ver the course of many years, they built enormous trust with their customers by providing a service with unprecedented levels of uality and reliability. hen a customer transacts at mazon they have absolute trust in them, regardless of whether they’re doing business directly with them or a third party marketplace vendor. The reality is that an Amazon customer doesn’t care who’s actually providing the product purchased in the marketplace. It doesn’t matter because the buyer knows there’s an implicit guarantee behind the transaction and, if anything does go wrong, they’ll be taken care of by mazon. ottom line— Amazon shoppers are Amazon customers! The key factor here is the trust that mazon has established over their 15+ years in business. This trust is not just because the customer knows he or she will get their money back if they’re not satisfied for any reason, it’s also the trust from knowing that mazon will e ecute flawlessly on the logistics, with the product being delivered when they say it will be and in the condition they said it would be. In order to be able to achieve this, mazon invested heavily in sophisticated, integrated information technology systems. Successful e-commerce is not possible first, without the use of technology and second, without having developed a high level of trust through the intelligent use of that technology. uring the opening phases of e-commerce development between 2000-2015 and, as companies such as Amazon, New gg, epotMa , and Staples, established increasing levels of trust with their customers, that trust translated into a virtuous cycle of more traffic, more transactions and even more trust. f course, the development of their e-commerce did not go unnoticed by small businesses around the nation. So, between we e perienced the first phase of the development of small to medium size resellers efforts to conduct online commerce. These efforts were mostly copies of the shopping cart concept established by the pioneering companies mentioned above. fter all, if it worked for them, then why wouldn’t it work on a smaller scale for the independents

Russia Begins Manufacturing Printers, Cartridges and Toner Political sanctions and economic problems forced Russia to review its attitude towards multiple problems including supplying Russian businesses and organizations with printing devices. Earlier, the Russian market had office printing products represented only by foreign manufacturers. Companies from the US, Japan, Europe, and China actively competed in this segment of the Russian ITmarket, offering Russian consumers a wide range of products. Now numerous suppliers of printing devices and supplies are emerging as Russia begins to manufacture its printers, cartridges, and toners. O n September 1 3 th , d ur i n g t h e I m p or t Sub st i t ut io n 2 0 1 6 International Expo, the first Russian MFP, called “Katyusha”, was presented. This Russian MFP can function as a printer, copier, scanner, and fax. it utilizes unique paginal printing technology based on stationary printing heads and innovative pigment dyes. Katyusha MFP provides high-quality, full-color printing at 50-75 ppm and 2400х2400 dpi resolution. The basic build of the Russian MFP includes a printer with sensor LCD control display. Depending on the requirements of the user, the printer might be compiled with a scanner, copier, or fax. Further, the Russian MFP uses a unique system of double-cartridges (page yield= 50000 pages). After the main dye container has been emptied, the system automatically switches to the additional container. Each cartridge can be replaced while printing as the dyes in this case are supplied from the remaining one. The Russian MFP was developed by Service Systems Company (Moscow, Russia) in partnership with Prom WAD (electronic engineering), Baikal Electronics (Russian processing units), XaaR (printing technologies), and Alexinskiy Chemical Plant (chemical production). The project is supported by the Industry Development Fund of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and by venture fund CommIT Capital (Rostelecom). The first key users targeted for the new Russian MFP are state businesses engaged in servicing citizens and having archive functions. The Katyusha MFP will also be used in the financial, and medical markets. The Russian MFP will be available for sale in mid2018. The projected sales amount is 65,000 MFPs per year. Another Russian company, Rostoner, plans to begin in 2017 the production of one- or two-component monochrome toner as well as cartridges for laser printers and copiers. During the first stage, Rostoner plans to acquire from German company INTEGRAL GmbH a continuous type production line with which the custom cartridges will be made. During the second stage, two years after the start of production, Rostoner plans to completely switch to local raw materials and organize (at the production site) a Competence Center involving leading specialists in the field.

Rostoner cartridges and toners will be procured initially by state organizations. Russian products will cost less than imported items since there are no costs for international logistics or customs fees. Also, there are the financial benefits of the special economic zone, Alabuga in Tatarstan (Russia), where the production site will be located. Further, the electricity fees for toner production will be low, since electricity is inexpensive in Russia. The complete budget of the project is estimated at 619 million rubles ($9.5 million USD). The Industry Development Fund of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has already approved a five-year loan for 300 million rubles by Rostonerat 5% interest per annum. Rostoner plans to acquire up to 7% of the Russian market by producing around 2.8 million cartridges and 350 tons of toner. The production site, with a staff of 74 people, is planned to begin manufacturing during in Q4 2016. It expects to reach full capacity by Q1 2018. The production of Russian-made printers, cartridges, and toners can change the Russian IT market as soon as 2017-2018. 3D Printing in 2016: Lower Prices, Higher Quality It’s still early for a wrap-up of 3D printing for 2016 but it’s not too early to outline the main trends we are seeing in the industry, which is just what Office Depot has done. The company has outlined a few trends that have dominated the 3D printing field, chief among them lower prices coupled with higher quality. You can buy a basic 3D printer for $300 nowadays or, if you want more, you can get a high-res printer complete with CAD tools and a scanner for a few thousand dollars. 3D printing services are also getting cheaper but better and more extensive as a lot of companies realize the services segment is very lucrative. Materials are getting more and better, too, allowing businesses to create objects that were earlier unthinkable, up to and including large items such as aircraft wings. Speaking of objects, this year 3D printing has advanced enough to allow for the creation of so-called consolidated parts: complex objects that in traditional manufacturing would be an accumulation of a number of separate parts assembled together. Of course, app makers are not sitting idly by. We’re in for an influx of 3D printing apps, including virtual inventories based in the cloud and designer apps where you only need to feed in your requirements and the app will do the design.

Big Data Helps Use Printers More Efficiently Printers are not what they used to be 20 years ago: nowadays they are smart, connected devices that can be utilized much more efficiently than before if their users apply big data processing. That’s according to HP’s head of Managed Services Tools and Infrastructure. One of the areas big data can help improve the performance of printing activities in an enterprise is automation, via machine-to-machine communication. Another is machine learning, making the devices capable of avoiding jams and other problems if a breakdown occurs. Finally, Scott Steele identifies user interactions as an area that would benefit from the insight into printing that big data analysis offers. In addition to enhancing the performance of the printers used in an enterprise, big data also allows for the better management of the fleet of devices. Benefits from this improvement include predictive actions, faster problem diagnosis, treatment, and resolution. Of course, these actions also include shorter times for replacing a device that needs repairs or decommissioning. What’s more, printer makers are working on self-healing capabilities for printers, which will help reduce service interruptions.

GoforIsrael Attracts 100 Startups, Hi-Tech Cos The GoforIsrael intiative, hosted by Shanghai, will see as many as 100 Israeli startups and high-tech companies taking part in the events. The initiative aims at linking Israeli businesses with Chinese investors, of whom some 1,000 are expected to take part, including giants such as Alibaba, Baidu, and Lenovo. The field of expertise of the Israeli companies to participate in the event range from devices helping people to improve their posture through non-touch biometric measurement sensors, to agriculture using hydronic methods.

HP Admits to Intentional “Bug” to Render Third-Party Cartridges Useless HP has confirmed that new firmware that was considered a bug by some, making HP printers incompatible with third-party ink cartridges, was not a bug but an intentional update and there was not going to be another one that would resolve the problem. The company said that the initial update was conceived last year and was pre-programmed in some of the printers and part of a firmware update in others. It’s doubtful what goal this move will achieve, given that the printer market is already oversaturated and HP’s own printer business has been in decline recently. As HP cartridges are very expensive, it’s rather more likely that users will switch printers instead of splashing on original cartridges.

3D Printed Sensors Enhance Microscope Performance

3D printed nano sensors, created at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, have been found to improve the performance of atomic force microscopes by boosting the sensitivity and detection speed of the devices. The miniature sensor can pick up movements that are smaller than an atom, to improve the quality of the image the atomic microscope generates. That’s the latest example of the really hundreds of applications 3D printing already has and will have in the future.

3D Printing Holds Promise for Infrastructure Projects

This will be the next milestone for 3D printing: road and bridge construction, large infrastructure projects. The relevant printing technologies are already in development, such as Stratasys’ Infinite Build that makes it possible to theoretically build objects of any size and that has already landed the 3D printer maker contracts with Boeing and Ford. The challenge is to bring together the capabilities of 3D printing with the type of materials used in, say, bridge construction. More specifically, special types of concrete (instantly curing) and steel are needed to make it possible to 3D print bridges. For now, it’s just a hypothetical possibility but at the rate 3D printing innovation is going, it’s all too likely to become an actual alternative to traditional road and bridge construction.

Polymer developer 3M has released a new batch of industrial plastic to add to the range of filaments used in 3D printing. The fully fluorinated polytetrafluoroethylene polymers would greatly increase 3D printing applications in the manufacturing field, by making printers capable of printing a whole new set of products. Polytetrafluoroethylene, or PTFE for short, is found in many everyday products such as outdoor clothing (because it repels water), non-stick coatings, and hospital devices such as catheters, since it also repels bacteria. PTFE products are also used in the oil and gas industry, in chemicals, and in car making and the aerospace industry, so the addition of this group of plastics to the range of 3D printing filaments open new doors to the technology into an extensive range of industries.

Ai Build Combines Robotic Arms with 3D Printing

A UK company has pushed the boundaries of 3D printing further by combining robotics with the technology. What founder Daghan Cam and his team did was attach 3D printing systems to robotic arms and programmed the latter to print complex structures. But the process was slow because, as Cam explains, the robots were blind. So the team added cameras and machine vision algorithms allowing them to analyze the structures while they were in the process of being printed. This made the robots capable of detecting defects and compensating for them as they layered the printing material. This combination of technologies allowed the experimenters to greatly reduce the printing time as well as printing costs: the first object produced in this way cost just $185, versus $31,000 which was the price quote given by a traditional manufacturing firm for the same structure.

Dubai Starts 3D Printing Parts for Public Transport System

Dubai is quickly making good on its promise to make 3D printing one of its many attractions. The Dubai Road and Transport Authority has taken to 3D printing for the production of component parts for equipment used in the metropolitan transportation system of the city state. These parts include elements of ticket vending machines, ticket gates, and a variety of other items. According to RTA officials, 3D printing will help the system save money and enhance the longevity of various elements that make up parts of it.

Dutch Businesses Team Up to Advance 3D Printing

As many as 28 Dutch companies have joined forces to advance 3D printing applications through collaboration across industries. The organization they've set up is called the Rotterdam Additive manufacturing Lab, or RAMLAB, and is a meeting point for exchanging expertise, ideas, and existing technology and hardware. The ultimate goal of RAMLAB is to provide companies with access to hardware and knowhow at no great investment, having recognized that money is often the biggest obstacle to adopting 3D printing. The added benefit: the companies taking part in the exchange are not direct competitors, which of course makes it significantly easier to work together for achieving a common goal.

First 3D Printed Excavator on Its Way

Researchers from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory are 3D-printing a hydraulic excavator in further demonstration of the endless possibilities opening up thanks to this technology. The machine, however, has a special purpose: testing 3D printing's capabilities with metal alloys. This focus once more highlights the fact that metal 3D printing is in the spotlight and with a good reason: metal 3D printing is what could ultimately usher in the 3D printing era, to replace traditional manufacturing of various metal components. Ernst & Young Expert Outlines Main Areas of Interest in 3D Printing

3D printing has been attracting a lot of attention but not everyone, especially executives of major companies, are aware of its exact implications for their business. With the exception of a few giant companies that are finding use for the technology for faster prototyping and even building component parts, most businesses are wary of 3D printing because they don’t know much about it. To help them, Channing Flynn, an Ernst & Young executive, has outlined the four main areas of interest for other business executives when it comes to 3D printing. These include the distribution of tangible goods, which 3D printing certainly facilitates, the technology’s capability to offer a business the option of print-on-order, which could have an immediate and positive effect on return on investments, and, of course, the lower costs of 3D printing. The fourth area is optimization of business operations. Flynn then goes on to tell executives what questions they need to ask themselves if they are considering taking 3D printing on board. These are just two: one, what are the cost/benefits of simplifying the supply chain and bringing production closer to target markets; and two, the ways in which 3D printing can improve the company’s innovation, product development, and the speed with which new products reach the market.

HP Boasts 50% 3D Printed Parts in MJF

Half the components in HP Inc's Multi Jet Fusion machine are themselves 3D printed, the company's chief of 3D printing Stephen Nigro said. The purpose was to showcase the capabilities of the MJF printer but also, and above all, to make the printers cheaper. Says Nigro, if you are producing fewer than 55,000 pieces of anything, 3D printing is cheaper than traditional manufacturing. HP will start shipping the two versions of the MJF printer by the end of the year. One of the versions, the jet Fusion 3D 3200 will have a price tag starting at $130,000.

More 3D Printing Patents Expiring

As patents in the 3D printing field expire, usually we see a boom of new entrants into the industry, taking advantage of the end of IP protection. Here are some patents that have expired earlier this year or are about to expire soon. The first on the list, compiled by IP law firm Finnegan, is a patent awarded to a company named DTM and concerns a selective laser sintering technology featuring polymer powder that is fused into the desired shapes. This patent expired in early February. Second on Finnegan's list is a patent held by German EOS, which expired in March this year. It is about a 3D printer that again uses powder but instead of a laser, shapes it into the desired object using radiation. The type of radiation is not specified in the patent description but the company claims its tech is much faster than SLS. The next patent on the list expires this December. It has been awarded to Z-Corp and concerns a 3D printer using a feed reservoir for the build material, as the patent calls it, which is layered on a build table in individual increments. Next comes a Stratasys patent for a machine that sounds like a regular FDM printer, using a “thermally solidifiable” material that flows through an extruder and collects in layers on a build region that is basically a heated bed that moves so as to allow the even distribution of the filament. The patent expires next May. The next patent on Finnegan's list expires also in May 2017 and has been issued to DTM again. This patent is again for tech involved in SLS printing and is named aptly enough: End-of-Vector Laser Power Control in a Selective Laser Sintering System.

thirteen Next comes a patent issued to another German firm, Fraunhofer- Gesellschaft Zur Foerderung der Angewandten Forschung E.V. This one concerns specifically metal 3D printing employing selective laser sintering. It expires in October 2017. Finally, the last soon-to-expire patent belongs again to Stratasys and is for a "Thin-Wall or in other words, an advanced extruder head featuring a hating block, an outlet for the printing filament and an advance mechanism for extruding it after it is heated. This patent expires in January 2018.

Nano Dimension Raises $12 Mln

3D bioprinting and electronics company Nano Dimensions has raised $12 million from a placement of 1.85 million American Depositary Receipts that was fully subscribed. The issue includes an overallotment option for another 277, 500 ADRs for the underwriters, so the total proceeds of the issue could reach $13.8 million. This fresh funding will help the company continue pushing ahead with its breakthrough technologies, which so far include 3D printing with conductive and dielectric inks and a 3D printer that can make printed circuit boards.

Multi-Color 3D Printing In Spotlight at Maker Faire

Multi-colored 3D printed items took center stage at the Maker Faire, demonstrating one of the main course of development for the technology. Polish Prusa, for instance, unveiled an upgraded version of its i3Mk2 printer, featuring four extruders, allowing for the simultaneous printing with several different colors. Another company, Canadian ORD Solutions, presented the RoVa4D, a printer that works basically following the inkjet principles of mixing colors, utilizing as many as seven extruders to mix cyan, magenta, yellow, and black in various shades. It would be too much to say that the quality of the prints is beyond reproach but these are early days for multi-color printing, let's give them that.

New Experiment Confirms Smartphones Can Steal 3D Printer Info A new experiment conducted by University of Buffalo, New York, researchers has confirmed that a common smartphone can be used to steal confidential information from a 3D printer. The confidential information in this case concerns the software telling the printer what to do. The smartphone, if it is placed near enough to the printer, can pick up and record the electromagnetic and sound data from the printer, then these data can be downloaded and the design of the 3D printable item can be copied. The relatively good news is that the more complex the design, the harder it is to steal it. In fact, the researchers found that the simplest designs, such as a doorstop, can be copied the easiest, with an accuracy of 94%. This raises hopes that as long as IP-protected designs are kept complex enough, it will take fraudsters more effort to find a way to steal the data accurately enough to then replicate the product.

New Graphene Filament Comes to Markets

Graphene has been praised as one of the materials of the future and it was only a matter of time before it was put to work in 3D printing. Two companies, Italian filament developer Filoalfa and graphene specialists Directa Plus, have announced the launch of a graphene-based PLA filament called Graphylon 3D PLA, which, they say, combines the best of both worlds: the properties of graphene and the low cost of PLA. The properties of graphene include light weight, flexibility, strength and electric conductivity. Finding a way to combine these properties with affordability and printability has proven to be a challenge for many but Directa Plus and Filoalfa seem to have managed it. Graphylon 3D PLA sells at around $43 per 700g spool.

Schneider, Stratasys Team Up

French utility and engineering giant Schneider has teamed up with Stratasys to streamline its manufacturing business and save costs. The French company says incorporating 3D printing into their manufacturing practices will help create “the factory of the future� for producing injection molds, assembly line tools for validation and, of course, other products and prototypes. This partnership will greatly reduce the times for Schneider to release the planned 400 new products it has scheduled for this year. It will also cut the costs of making new products significantly. In the case of injection molds, for example, it will cut costs by as much as ten times.

It's more compact than the original da Vinci Jr. but its build platform is unchanged, at 5.9x5.9x5.9 inches. It hit markets on October 21.

The First Programmable 3D Printing Material is Here

3D printing materials have a special place in the industry, with a lot of effort going into making them stronger or more flexible, heat or cold resistant, conductive, or anything else the item should be. Now, MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory has gone a step further, creating a material, whose properties can be actually programmed beforehand. This means that an item printed from this single material can be harder in the middle, say, and softer or more flexible around the edges. The researchers are calling the stuff Programmable Viscoelastic Material (PVM) and report that users will be able to program the exact degrees of hardness or softness of any item to be 3D printed using the material. According to them, the material will be particularly useful in robot-printing, as currently soft robots are soft throughout and this is not always the optimal choice. The MIT scientists believe their PVM will help make much more efficient robots.

Ultimaker’s Latest Printer Uses Two Materials At the Same Time

Ultimaker has released its Ultimaker 3, a 3D printer than features a dual extruder, which makes the machine capable of printing with two materials at the same time. This makes it one of a very limited range of 3D printers at the moment. What's more, the dual-printing feature means not just that it could make items using two materials at once but that it can also print an item using one of the materials and a support structure for it if the item is complex and vulnerable to warping at the same time. In addition to the dual extruders, the Ultimaker 3 also has Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, plus an USB port. The printer carries a price tag of $3,495.

HP Plans to Reclaim the Printer Market HP Inc. has suffered lagging printer sales for a while now but it’s far from giving up on this market segment. On the contrary, the company is planning to reclaim the leading place and is already putting these plans into action.

Canon Lifts the Veil on Its Newest UV Curable Ink Canon has released details about a new UV curable ink that, the company, claims, will transform wide-format printing. The ink gels instantly upon contact with a surface and printers using it will fill a price niche in the mid-range that is currently empty. The ink will be used in wide-format printers equipped with Canon’s also new piezoelectric printhead tech. The two systems, the printhead and the UV curable ink release system are independent from each other which, according to Canon, enhances the accuracy of the print job. At the same time, the new ink system lowers costs because it achieves the same quality print with smaller amounts of ink. Printers using the new ink system will be from the interior dÊcor and signage segment, with print runs of around 10,000 sqm annually.

HP Launches New A3 Multifunctional Lineup

HP has been underrepresented on the A3 copier market, so it’s taking care to change this by releasing a lineup of 16 new multifunctionals, including three Page Wide devices and 13 laser jet ones. All 16 feature both color and monochrome printing and copying, with speeds of between 22 and 60 ppm. The devices will hit markets in spring 2017 and, according to company representatives, will be extremely easy to maintain, with all of them sporting cloudbased tools for monitoring and remote diagnosis, sparing users the time to take the device, should it develop a flaw, for repairs.

Remanufacturing the Samsung ProXpress M4580 Toner Cartridge By Mike Josiah and the Technical Staff at UniNet Imaging

Mike Josiah Mike Josiah is the Technical Director at UniNet’s East Coast office, a global distributor of toner, Smartchips, OPC drums, and other toner remanufacturing components. Mr. Josiah is an industry veteran since 1987, and a member of ASTM committee F.05, the STMC Technician Certification committee, as well as an STMC trainer. He and his support team at UniNet contribute with technical articles to industry trade magazines, and conduct seminars at association meetings and tradeshows worldwide. The Samsung ProXpress M4580 series of printers are based on a 47ppm, 1200 Dpi engine. The first page out is stated to be under 6.5 seconds, The M4580 machines are MFP in that they can Print, copy, scan and fax. The come built in with Wi-Fi, Google Cloud Print Samsung Mobile Print, NFC tap and print and Apple Airprint. The M4580 comes with 1GB (2GB max) memory installed and have a duty cycle of 200,000 pages per month.

These machines use a two-cartridge system, a toner hopper and a drum unit. The printer comes with a starter cartridge rated for 7,000 pages. 2) Remove the end cap. See Figure 2 3) Using the Modified soldering iron, melt a hole either in the middle of the fill plug or right next to it. If you choose to melt it in the fill plug so the hole cannot be seen when done, I highly recommend you seal the edges of the cover label with a good silicone caulk to seal it up. The OEM plugs are glued/welded in place and cannot be removed without damaging the hopper. See Figure 3

8) On the opposite side of the cartridge, locate the small spring loaded waste port cover. Press in the cover and vacuum the waste chamber clean. See Figures 10 & 11. This is a small access point so you may want to melt a hole in the waste chamber to speed things up. If you place the hole in the side of the waste by the toner port (Opposite side of cart), it won’t be very visible and will not have the weight of the waste toner pressing down on the seal as the cartridge is used. 之后,马学文先生与在场嘉宾分享了中恒过去二十年发展的经验和感悟。他表示,中恒 20 年努 力奋斗,执着于办公耗材领域,一路上有数不清的成功也有数不清的挫折,但有一点从未改变,就是 中恒从来没有停止前进的步伐。

首功归于团队 马学文先生认为,能在办公耗材行业内驻足整整二十年,首先是因为自己拥有一支同心同德的优 秀团队。 抱着“以我为中心”的态度是团队合作的大忌,也不利于企业的发展进步。为了让团队能发挥出 百分之百的能力,企业对团队的素质和能力十分看重。中恒集团一方面选拔高素质人才进入团队,一 方面培养团队成员的凝集力和集体感,让每个成员在和谐有序的氛围里发挥最大潜能。 二十年来,中恒集团经历过多次的团队组织结构蜕变,对产品质量进行了无数次的革新,在世界 经济疲软的形势下仍能逆流而上,这些都要依靠团队的良好运作才能实现。

HP’s Updated Firmware Beats Unofficial Ink Cartridges

近日,位于荷兰的打印机墨水供应商 123inkt 公司突然在一天之内收到了超过 1000 次投诉,投诉的内容非常一致:在 9 月 13 日当天,在惠普打印机上使用的 第三方墨盒突然失效,无法继续工作。荷兰公司的遭遇只是冰山一角,很快地, 全世界范围内都传来了惠普打印机拒绝第三方墨盒的消息。 这次惠普打印机大规模拒绝第三方墨盒事件也引起了诸多知名媒体的关注。 据 BBC 报 道, 受 影 响 的 打 印 机 均 为 惠 普 OfficeJet 系 列 产 品, 包 括 了 OfficeJet、OfficeJet Pro、 OfficeJet Pro X 等几个子系列。123inkt 公司对此表示, 惠普打印机拒绝第三方墨盒的“罪魁祸首”是惠普以前的一次固件升级。惠普之 前曾表示,该升级名义上是为了“保护惠普的创新成果和知识产权”,但其实际 效果却不止如此。由于打印机突然性出错损害了很多客户的利益,123inkt 对此十 分恼怒。 另一权威媒体《卫报》则直接用“惠普使用‘定时炸弹’阻止喷墨打印机使
