Hello there you beautiful people, I hope we are all feeling fine! I’ve had all sorts of wonderful and fabulous things going on since we last spoke, plenty to tell you about.
I attended The National Vintage Awards this month and it really was a fantastic evening full of amazingly talented people that are all involved in the vintage industries. Hosted by the fabulous Kiki Deville and the gorgeous Johnathan D Ellis, the night was full of laughter and tears (of joy), super singers and some amazing frocks! Throughout the event various categories were announced and the winners awarded. We got to my category ‘Best Vintage
Photographer’ and I was very happy to come runner up to the amazing Neil Kendall, a photographer I admire and look up to so much. He has had an amazing career and photographed so many amazing people. I'd just like to say huge massive well-deserved congratulations to Neil! Also this month we had a Tiki Shoot Day and all the weather had been hit and miss. We were blessed with glorious sunshine, so it was cocktails at my tiki bar at noon! All the ladies looked gorgeous and we had lots of fun. I can’t wait to visit a Hawaiian one, wouldn’t that just make the most amazing location for a shoot?

Lots of gorgeous ladies have been to visit this month; we’ve had boudoir, burlesque, latex, fashion, pinup, tiki, cowgirls and one of the most amazing transformations I have ever seen. I got to shoot Laura Nixon, she is one of the UK’s leading Marilyn Monroe tributes, I sat mesmerized watching this lovely young lady transform herself to one of Hollywood’s biggest icons. I was truly blown away! So fascinated by her job and how she has learnt to mimic Marilyn’s mannerisms and I can’t wait to see her perform later this year.
I’ve also been getting everything together ready for my Help for Heroes charity calendar. I applied to them a few months ago to see if I could get the go ahead to do some fund-raising for them in this way. I was thrilled that so many lovely pinups wanted to take part and we have a full days shoot planned to get all twelve month covered. So look out for when the calendar goes on sale and help support this amazing cause. That’s me signing off for now, much love xxx

Hello Rebelicious readers, did you miss me last month? If you have been following me on social media you will have seen how crazy busy I have been with holidays, festivals and Suicide Girls antics.
I’m sat here trying to think way back to Download Festival; I had a amazing time, saw some awesome bands and even got to hang out with the lovely Sophulla, a Suicide Girl hopeful that I met through Gemma Edwards. She came for one day and we watched Marilyn Manson together! I managed to squeeze in a tattoo appointment with the awesome Clara Sinclair in the three days I had before jetting off to Bali! We finished my feet/ calves in one day, yeah feet hurt! The next day I flew to Bali… I had an amazing time when my luggage finally turned up! The highlight I would say was the Monkey forest where the monkeys seemed to particularly like me, yay I think! After two weeks of lounging in the sun, swimming and sight seeing I was back to the UK and getting ready for another Ballroom Blitz performance at the Electric Ballroom. The Ballroom Blitz is a bimonthly club night put on by the Suicide Girls, and the next event is in September with a full Blackheart Burlesque show. I can’t wait to see all the girls from the USA! I had a great time performing at the Ballroom Blitz - such a great night and crowd - one of the best yet! ©Del 28 | Rebelicious magazine

I also recently shot for the awesome Prong Jewellery. I am in love with their new collection! It’s made from a beautiful shiny white material with posture collars, harness style necklaces, and it’s absolutely amazing! I can’t wait for it to all be up on http://www.prongjewellery.com I have posted a few sneak peeks on my instagram and will be posting more; I took a photo of pretty much every necklace as I loved them! Now the other thing, and I always feel like I am saying this, but I have started a new gym and diet regime and will start documenting it on YouTube soon (sorry my YouTube has been slacking… too many holidays!) The gym and recovering has been taking up lots of my time as I started lifting weights properly and monitoring my progress, upping my protein intake and watching my macros. It’s taking a lot to get used to and taking a lot out of me, I am so tired in the evenings! If you haven’t already subscribed to my YouTube channel do it now!
